Trusted teacher: (Note: Please note that the first message sent by Parents/Students to the tutors is firstly checked by Apprentus and hence it might take as long as 1 day to come to my inbox. But I usually send the reply within 10-30 minutes, which might take another day to go back to the parents/students. Therefore, please allocate a maximum of 2 days for our first conversation.) Mathematics course taught by engineering graduate who has more than 10 years of experience in teaching mathematics (up to undergraduate level), and more than 3 years of experience in teaching and guiding standardized tests (GRE and SAT). I will help you to learn standardized courses (GRE, SAT, and even TOEFL) more effectively. Mathematics lessons are available for the students up to Bachelor level which includes, Bachelor Students, IB (Math SL and Math HL) students, A level students, European S6 and S7 level students, GCSE students, and IGCSE students. Science (Physics and Chemistry) course is available for the students up to European upper secondary level, IB and A level. Science (Biology) lessons are available up for the students up to European Secondary level, GCSE level, and IGCSE level. Currently, I am teaching: 1. GCSE Students 2. IGCSE Students 3. IB students 4. European School Students 5. AS/A level students 6. Lycée Vauban students 7. Athénée de Luxembourg students Homework help will also be available for school students. Student's progress can be seen from the periodical tests in all of the above courses as per the requirements of parents or the student himself/herself. Please read the note. Note: Though some of my students have the course in french/german/ Swedish, my teaching language is English. As the subject is mathematics, it is easy to figure out what is the task about (as I have a general knowledge of some language as well.) and hence I explain the answer in English.

Trusted teacher: I see you got interested in me as in your potential tutor :) Here is some "short" description about me: I am a tutor of Math and Physics for High, Middle School and University students for more than 5 years in three languages. My students were successfully passing Finals, enrolling in Lyceums and Universities. In almost all the cases, my students were initially thinking that they don't like Mathematics and/or Physics, that "they are not that type of person that can succeed in that sphere". Solution of this problem is simple and obvious, just to try other approach of teaching. So my first lesson is aimed at finding the key for the student. And every time my main approach is to build friendly relations with a student, so both of us will have willing to attend the next lesson:) It is very hard to keep this balance between being a strict teacher asking homework and a friend that you can text in the messenger outside the class just to discuss a football match. So I will try my best to get one more friend and successful student! The program of my course is flexible and depending on the final purpose (Preparation for the exam, improving marks in the school) and time that we have. My lessons are usually a little bit longer than one hour or two, because I always make 5-10 minutes break, because student might get tired (especially in case of online lessons). After every lesson, I give the Homework to the student and at the beginning of every next lesson we are checking results, making corrections and I ask to explain the solution, if needed. My main goal is to make student understand the topic and with full knowledge pass exams

Mounir
Mounir has been tutoring my daughter for a few months (French syllabus, 3eme - Brevet level). She loves the lessons and looks forward to their weekly Zoom meeting. Mounir easily builds a good rapport with his students and makes lessons interesting and fun, building confidence along the way. He is methodical and organised in his approach and makes sure to go over any aspects of the lessons which may have been less well covered in class, leaving the student with a solid grasp of the entire syllabus. He also recommended alternative revision cards and exercise books with corrections which my daughter finds much more user friendly than the ones provided at her school. Overall a very satisfactory experience and we would recommend Mounir without hesitation to anyone looking for an excellent maths tutor.

Robert
The experience with Robert was great and I highly recommend him. The experience with Apprentus, however, was the opposite. If you want to try a single class, they charge you a "membership fee" that costs about the same as the class itself... If you want to avoid the membership fee you have to buy packages of 5 or 10 classes... These fees appear only once you have already been in touch with your teacher and you probably don't want to cancel your meeting anymore. Such hidden fees that appear only at the very end of the booking are anything but customer friendly... So my message is mixed: go for Robert, but not for Apprentus...

Maria Luisa
Over the course of about two semesters, Maria Luisa helped me with the Mathematics course at my university. The topics were highly diverse, ranging from financial mathematics to differential equations. Even so, she was able to explain all of them in detail, making exercises and giving concrete examples that made abstract concepts more tangible. Maria Luisa was a patient and attentive tutor who really took her time to make sure the lessons were tailored to my needs. I'd strongly recommend Maria's lessons to anyone looking for some extra help within Mathematics/Physics in a supportive atmosphere.
