I am a student in Master of philosophy, I am currently preparing the Capes. Philosophy fascinates me, I know that it is the most infamous test of the Baccalaureate: whether mystify or deride, philosophy is often misunderstood while it is present in everything that drives us: arts, history, economy, politics, sciences ... I want to show the high school student that with method, dialogue and work it is quite possible to get good grades in philosophy. We will discuss the major themes in the program, for each one: "intuitive" discussion around it, study of a corpus of texts and elaboration of a problematic and a plan of dissertation and / or commentary of text. The teenager goes back with a synthetic revision sheet developed together after each class.

Trusted teacher: What is the nature of consciousness? Is there a self? Is the mind identical to the brain? Can life have meaning in a physical universe? These are big questions that philosophy can help tackle. Together, we will talk about how to understand these questions more precisely, look at some answers, and learn how to approach both questions and answers using critical thinking tools. Who is this class for? Students who've never taken philosophy, adults who are interested in exploring big ideas, and scientists and entrepreneurs who'd like to learn how to think about these questions in a more rigorous way.

Trusted teacher: Hello everyone, My name is May, I am Franco-English and I offer online courses in philosophy and general culture. I have been giving private lessons for 8 years. I always try to adapt as well as possible to each of my students, and to pass on to them the enthusiasm I have for philosophy. My classes are always caring, and demanding without being strict - I believe you learn best when you are relaxed and having fun. Especially when studying philosophy, which is above all incredible gymnastics for the mind, and a means of discovering other ways of thinking about the world, the things around us, human relationships. I remain attentive to my students and seek the best ways to move forward with them, to develop their analytical skills, and to consolidate their methodology while exploring fascinating subject matter. I live in London where I am a writer, actress and director. I did a baccalaureate L (with honors TB), studied in the hypokhâgne/khâgne literary preparatory class at the Lycée Henri IV, then at HEC Paris (Msc in Business) and at the Sorbonne (bachelor's degree in philosophy, honors TB). Do not hesitate to contact me for more information and to discuss your expectations. See you soon !

Trusted teacher: Philosophy for school age or adults. I am licensed. I love this subject and my enthusiasm is contagious. We will review the topics for which the student has exams or those that the student feels are of special interest. Textbooks sometimes make this subject more difficult and unenjoyable than it should be.
I will present a comprehensive lesson on communication and symbolic systems, of course, while studying the treatises of many philosophers and major schools of thought such as Sartre, Roland Barthes, Edgar Morin, ... In addition to working on several topics, we allocate part of the class to work on a topic. This lesson includes 4 classes

Trusted teacher: Online or face-to-face courses. In this course, the student will choose from among the teacher's proposals a subject that interests him. These can vary between conversations, everyday contexts, literary readings, reflections on feelings, discussions of politics, science, etc. Through this, the language will be taught through the constant interaction between French and Spanish. The student will obtain notions of grammar, writing (can be literary, academic, etc.). Then, a small writing of the genre will be produced in agreement with the student by which it will be corrected and guided by the teacher. At the end of the course, we aspire to have a mastery of the language that allows daily interaction, we seek to deepen different thoughts, to share cultures, experiences to recognize language as a means of expression. I would like in this course to deepen with you the reading of a text or a theme of your choice, by giving you the keys to understanding a specific author or a corpus of authors. The aim of this course would thus be to help you develop an autonomy in the exploration of philosophical texts, but also to broaden your thinking to new possibilities of analysis and understanding of reality. I can also bring a more academic knowledge relating to the method and the culture required in a cegep course. I graduated from a research master in philosophy at the Sorbonne. My main line of research is oriented towards phenomenology, feminism and gender theory, but I also have solid knowledge in the history of philosophy, in epistemology and history of science, in political philosophy as well as in the philosophy of art and aesthetics. Looking forward to being able to share my passion with you! Theo Proust
