I have been playing guitar with passion for 11 years - sometimes "unplugged" acoustic guitar, but then also "on stage" electric guitar. I am convinced that everyone can learn an instrument individually and regardless of age. Where there is a will, there's a way! In doing so, I rely on pieces of music chosen by the pupil himself so that we can dissect and rehearse them in terms of music theory. Working according to the student's own taste keeps the motivation at a high level. Also my willingness to patiently explain certain content several times until it works with the fingers on the fingerboard.
