The Spanish language is one of my biggest passions, and I feel fortunate as I have had the opportunity to turn my passion into a full-time job for the last 30 years. My lessons are designed to be effective but also fun. Students quickly acquire the confidence to use the new language and are encouraged to want to learn more. I suggest that beginning students follow the classic curriculum for foreign language learning to build the groundwork for their studies. The objective is to cover basic grammar with many oral repetitions in practical situations. As students progress, they are ready for increasingly complex grammar.

My name is Luis and I am a teacher of English, Japanese and Spanish for foreigners. I have more than 30 years of experience in teaching languages both in Japan and in Spain. I am a teacher of Spanish for foreigners (ELE certificate), and I also have the TESOL certification to teach English as a second language. I have lived in the United States and Japan for more than 20 years. I have taught Spanish as a first and second language and English as a second language in companies, institutes, universities and currently online. I have extensive experience in preparing for the DELE and SIELE Certificates of Spain and the Cambridge PET, KET and FIRST English exams, as well as the APTIS certificate from the British Council. Each student has a specific reason for learning a language, whether for business, vacation, or just for fun. My goal is to respect the needs of each student, providing them with the tools that best meet their needs, motivation and interests. But I think the most important thing in language learning is that it be enjoyed while you learn. Therefore, I try to make my classes fun and dynamic.
