Lessons for modern or historical, with program and repertoire, adapted to the goals and speed of each student, whether young, not so young, or adult, for a general introduction to these instruments, for preparation for high music education, as a supplementary aid for exams in music academies, or for a hobby, or for amateur group music-making, or for developing qualities as concentration, discipline, expressibility, awareness of styles and music history.
In my teaching, I rely mostly on old traditional methods, books, and repertoire, which have proved their efficiency over the time. I also make use of the old teaching tradition of improvisation. This not only adds a creative element soon after very beginning, but also teaches via practice the basics of harmony.
Lessons can be combined (+30min.) with theory/solfege (ear training), if the student wishes.

I have been teaching for about 20 years, privately, in Brussels, and in New York in the past, more than 100 students.
I am a graduate of Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, in baroque cello and harpsichord, but I play also modern cello, organ, and piano.
