My main goal is to help students achieve spoken fluency in Spanish, for whatever their interests are (work, studies, or personal goals). I’m a language learner myself so I know what the journey of learning a second language is like, by knowing this, I can help my students to learn in effective ways.

Lessons with me are very friendly, relaxed, and conversational. I give the students the opportunity to use Spanish in a natural way. My lessons will discuss feelings, ideas, and thoughts. We will also explore a variety of topics that are of interest to you. I help students understand the Spanish and Latino-American cultures and to use idioms and expressions in a proper way since this is an important factor that shapes the way we speak and communicate.

For me, it is very important that students feel comfortable and free to ask what they want, therefore, I prepare the lessons based on the student’s needs and goals. I also keep track of all the classes and new vocabulary we learn, and I am happy to share recommendations of books or material that may be helpful to my students.

¡Hola!
My name is Daniela, and I am from Colombia. I love languages, arts, and music. Teaching is a profession that I am very passionate about. I have over 5 years of experience teaching languages, English and Spanish, both in schools and privately.

Education

I studied Architecture at the National University of Colombia. I am also a TESL teacher and I have been educated to teach Spanish through the natural method, I use natural language in a context understandable to my students.

Expérience / Qualifications

I have worked with students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, in groups and individually, remotely and on-site. I also have experience working with children from ages 5-12. Lessons with me are friendly, relaxed, and conversational. I allow my students to use Spanish naturally through full language immersion. During each class, I create natural situations conducive to mutual communication. My students are constantly motivated to create short dialogues using newly learned words and questions.
