About Me

Uci is an Indonesian Singer, Songwriter, Recording artist, and Vocal coach. And she`s living in Switzerland.
Born and raised comes from the Family as an artist and musician in Jakarta-Indonesia.

Uci has always been musically gifted.
From a young age, she was Singing, performing in various singing competitions on TV & Radio shows.

Uci is a Profesional Singer with a lot of Stage experience - Over 500 Stages
In the late 1990s, under the Number One Artist/Singer Management of Anton Indra Cahya, Uci & several well-known Indonesian Singers held rock concerts in various regions in Indonesia.
Some of the names of famous singers who joined & were involved in the Rock Concert included: Anggun C. Sasmi

Attended Vocal, Stage, Arts & Culture School and got famous teachers of her era: Saragih (one of the maestros of Indonesian Jazz Music), Titik Kadarsih (an Indonesian model, dancer, singer, and film actor), and several names of other famous Senior Teachers
Uci was singing and performing on various singing programs on Indonesian National TV-TVRI and Indonesian National Radio RRI.

Uci was singing and performing in various singing competitions on TV & Radio shows.
Her solo career brought her to several countries

Was Performing on Swiss TV-SRF in the Music program.
In 2005, was performed with DJ Toxic and did a big show at Zurich Fest Zurich Bahnhof.
Performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival Geneva.

She has been there, working with big names, Big events & Big Stages. Several Big & famous companies and star hotels have collaborated several times like Omega, ABB, Marriot Hotels, Sri Lanka Airlines, and many more.
Music is her Universal Language.
Making the People/audience happy is the main Goal.

If you have any health issues that may affect your voice I can give you advice and guidance, special exercises , yoga routines etc - having suffered myself from GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) and a resulting small vocal node in the past, and having dealt with various health issues - despite which I have managed to still work as a singer!

I can teach you to:

- Improvise and write songs.
- Develop your expression.
- Develop your technique without losing your own unique sound.
- Extend your range to at least 3 octaves (sometimes even 4!)
- Breath control and control of your entire range.
- Sing in a variety of techniques and styles- become a versatile singer!

I am a pianist and lyrical soprano. I have a pedagogical Master Degree in Singing and now I am studying Master Performance at the ZHdK, Zürich.
I offer vocal technique and repertoire lessons for any style of music.
Regardless of the style, singing is about correct breathing, a relaxed body and lots of expression!
I have experience in other fields, such as jazz and musical, and I have already been teaching for a couple of years.
Teenagers and adults are wellcome.

Piano and Singing class.
I graduated at Prague Conservatory and traveled the world with my band on the cruise ship.
I have tons of experience with teaching children and i am the happiest around them.
We will go through the basics, music theory and all basics thing that are important for beeing able to play.
At my singing class, there is also a little bit of piano involved. I will explain you the breathing, we will talk about your body importance and i explain the technique.
In order to motivate my students, I always combinate important methodic things to play with their own favorite things to play. The same at my piano class.

I speak fluent English, my German is not the best, but i am working on it. I have also students, who dont speak English and we always make it work, actually it is a lot of fun.

Via webcam i only teach singing, not piano.

I am a South African/Swiss Singer, Composer and Arranger with a Bachelors degree in music.

As a singer, I can help you with fundamental techniques, vocal improvisation and performance - giving you the knowledge I have picked up from my time performing with multiple different types of ensembles as well as in the education sphere.

In my opinion, the most important thing any student can have is a straightforward set of approaches and techniques to practice so that they can tackle holes in their technique and knowledge to help them achieve their goals. As your teacher, I will make it my mission to help you find these approaches in an easy and digestible way so you can have consistent and significant progress as you strive to become a better musician.

As a Composer and Arranger, I can help you get to grips with Theory from the school to University level and share the Arranging and Orchestration techniques I've picked up during my university experience.

I am a Swiss-Hungarian soprano with a full degree in Music and over twenty years of practice as a singer of Operas, Operettas, Arias - as well as Pop and Jazz. I have been working as a vocal coach for many years as well, using special techniques I have learned from my own great teachers.

I customize the lesson to the student's possibilities and expectations. Correct vocal technic and freedom when singing is the most important things during my lessons. Every student has his own specific qualities and predispositions and I always try to develop them and make them shine. I work with Cheryl Portrer Vocal Method.

During the ear training and music notation classes I mostly use singing or piano playing to make lessons more practical. In my opinion, music should always be played and not spoken about. In the ear training classes I use relative solmnization, which is perfect for vocalists.
