About Me
Hi! I am Roua, you can also call me Rue. I was born in Tunisia and I was lucky enough to learn French as a kid, just like the majority of Tunisians. I speak Arabic, French, and English fluently and I am learning Turkish and German. In addition to teaching and learning languages, I work as a freelance translator.
In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, reading and watching the latest series. What about you? What's your favorite series?
Polyglot, lover of languages and teacher of French, Arabic, and English with 7 years of experience.
Freelance Translator and Author of a self-published novel.
I love teaching languages and I enjoy learning them myself.
I am goal-oriented, flexible, likable and my students ( even young kids) find my classes fun and interactive. I teach because I tried so many jobs and none of them was as fulfilling as teaching. Teaching makes me happy and I love it!
Me as a Teacher
I've started teaching in 2012 as a student, I was teaching online and in-person and then I opened my language center in 2015. I studied English at university for my Bachelor's and then I studied linguistics for my Master's. I love learning and I am constantly working on improving my teaching skills by taking lessons and staying up to date with the latest in language teaching and language acquisition.
My Lessons & Teaching Style
My classes are described by my students as structured, fun and engaging. I focus primarily on the following areas of the language:
✔ Pronunciation
✔Grammar
✔Vocabulary
✔ Culture
✔Conversational practice
I also offer test preparation lessons for DALF, DELF, TCF, TEF.

Have you studied Arabic before and now feel like you have forgotten everything? Do you need a refresher to help you move forward and continue learning?
Perhaps you are an absolute beginner and would like to learn Arabic so much but you can't enroll in a session due to your work and personal commitment. Or maybe you are an intermediate learner who wants to take her Arabic to the next level.
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this course is the right one for you.
My classes are conversational for false beginners and intermediate students.
For beginners, I like to take it slow and introduce the letters little by little to help them learn them as this can be challenging.
I teach in my language center, in a cozy classroom designed for one-on-one and small group lessons. The classroom is equipped with a whiteboard and a TV.
I like to give my students homework and extra materials to help them progress.
For instance, I use the apps : Tiny cards and memrise to help my students learn vocabulary easily.
I also use a google drive doc for online lessons and to send students notes after the end of each class to make sure that they have something to review before the next lesson.
TEXTBOOKS:
For beginners, I use: Al Kitab Al Assassi and Ahlan wa Sahlan as well as my own worksheets.
For intermediate students, I use a series of textbooks published by Albujaira.
I also use videos, audios, and other materials.
