Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". My course is aimed at young beginners who want to learn the piano, and who are ready to go through the music theory box! For the course of the course it's quite simple: we will choose several pieces together, depending on the level of difficulty and the student's desires. The course will be divided into two: a first part of music theory (which I will make fun with various exercises, don't worry), and a second practical part where the student will play the chosen pieces. Concerning myself, I did 13 years of piano at the Montpellier Conservatory. I studied music theory, piano, chamber music, sight reading and choir there. In both cases I aim to make learning enjoyable. I always encourage all my students, of whatever age or ability, to do some simple improvisation, and have developed several ways to facilitate this.
