Deepening my knowledge of singing and passing on my skills to students are the things I love to do most and I have been teaching singing to beginners and professionals for many years now.
I start from the basics of breathing, vocal warmup, and anatomy of the phonatory organ, to reach a confident use of the vocal instrument, and mastery of the technique, alongside body awareness.
For set-out-artists, for those who want to go further into the technique and receive a guide in the artistic sector, I offer my professionalism in the study of the repertoire and performing techniques, introducing and deepening notions of pronunciation and diction for singers, understanding of the text, acting and executive techniques (applied to singing). Furthermore, my students have the opportunity to make professional recordings, to follow and document their artistic evolution (Self-recording technique lessons can be added).
I have a bachelor's degree in classical singing from Conservatorio di Musica “F. Morlacchi” (Perugia, Italy) and I can speak English and Italian in the lessons.

About Me

I am an Italian singer and vocal trainer/vocal coach.

Since 2009, I started studying, inside and outside the conservatory, deepening and perfecting all the musical fields in which I felt I could stand out: opera singing (with a preference for the Baroque, Renaissance, modern, and contemporary periods), choral singing, theatrical acting, composition and opera direction.
Always combining the study of cultured music and modern music, I completed my studies in the conservatory in 2016 and, shortly after, I started teaching modern singing and collaborating with two international agencies of artistic representation (DM Artist Management) and opera productions (IME Productions). For three years I worked “behind the scenes”, incorporating as much musical knowledge as possible and getting in touch with the most prestigious theaters and artists in the opera sector.
Hence the beginning of the collaboration with professionals in the recording industry, the production of my music, and the birth of the band Basement's Glare, for which I am, as well a vocalist, composer, lyricist, and melodist.

The present course is tutored by a Classical Singer and a Classical Pianist, both study connected to the Royal Conservatory Den Haag.

It is preferred to work weekly to optimize results. The singing, and main teacher, is always present to assure the vocal progression. The piano coach will be present as often as requested by the student/advised by the teacher. The pupils will then have the best piano accompaniment.

The main objective of the course is to work accordingly with the student's goals to give a well-driven direction to our study.

The course it's thought with classic technical basics (healthy vocal benefits) but other styles can be added like the musical, jazz, cabaret, etc...

Each case will have a personalized answer. The teachers' connection to the Royal Conservatory also ensures that complex problems can be solved by asking the highest experts.

> Lesson structure:

✓ The lessons start with body/posture awareness, movement and breathing exercises followed by an individual set of vocalizes that may incorporate some scales, cords and/or improvisation.

✓ After the warm-up, depending on the student's level and goals, some song methods may fallow and/or the repertoire on which we decided to work.

✓ While working on the pieces several kinds of information will be provided:

• The Anatomy of the Voice (body, breathing, vocal cord, resonances, prevention and counseling about vocal disorders);

• Language and Phonetic knowledge of Italian, French, German, English, Spanish and Portuguese (+ strategies to enable singing in other languages).

• Vocal Interpretation, phrase, prosody, colors, coordination with the piano and tools how to personalize the 'message', among others based on appropriate bibliography;

• Drama basics, stage preparation, and fright avoidance strategies.

• Music Theory and History in order to understand the pieces more deeply through a quick analysis, period and style.

✓ At the end of each season (non-mandatory) public auditions can be arranged whenever an artistic space would be willing to receive great voices and repertoire. This works as progressive training for students individually and/or coupled - ensemble skills.

The lessons can be given in English, Spanish and Portuguese. They can be held at the teacher's location or at the student's address.

I am an experienced performer offering singing lessons for all abilities. I have a BHons from Royal Holloway and have recently graduated my Masters in Classical Singing at The Royal Conservatoire of the Hague.
While I am predominantely trained in classical singing, I can also offer lessons in traditional singing, pop and musical theatre. I am available to help with learning scores and repertoire training and am also experienced with ABRSM preperations.

Welcome to my introduction site!

My name is Marta and music has been a great love and passion for my entire life.
Singing lessons are not only an opportunity to learn singing and something new about music but also an opportunity to express emotions, forget about everyday worries, and have fun!
Through music theory lessons you can learn about the structure of music and also develop some very useful music skills such as reading music (sight-singing or sight-reading).

All students who have a specific goal in mind, but also all who do not have any specific goal in mind and want to sing or learn theory just for fun, are very welcome!

Different options for lessons that I am offering are described below and all of them can be modified and adjusted according to the wishes and needs of the student:

SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*)
Singing lessons for children is basically an integrated method that combines singing with solfeggio, developing basic music theory skills. It consists of playing musical games and singing children's songs and those developing intonation, musical hearing, musical memory, sense for pulse and rhythm, all with attention to healthy singing.

SINGING LESSONS FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*)
During singing lessons, we will be searching for a deeper meaning of the story and different ways of interpretation, with attention to healthy singing techniques, pronunciation, and style. The lessons consist of breathing exercises, and vocal warm-up exercises with a specific technical goal and work on the desired repertoire - meaning of the words and story, vocal technique, pronunciation, interpretation, and style.
My specialization is in classical singing but I don’t mind working on other genres in my classes.

SIGHT SINGING LESSONS (individual or group lessons)
Intense course where you will be learning how to read music at sight. The lessons consist of sight singing only, beginning from the easiest level and gradually learning how to read more and more difficult music. You will develop skills needed for sight singing as well as a certain way of thinking appropriate for sight singing. (There is no technique of singing or interpretation involved in these lessons.)

SOLFEGGIO LESSONS (individual or group lessons, for children from 8 years old, teenagers, and adults)
In these lessons, you will learn how to bring written music to life (sight-singing), how to discover and put on paper the music you hear (musical dictation), and how to build scales, intervals, and chords. This knowledge is needed and examined in every conservatoire and music academy. For some conservatoires and academies, this is an obligatory pre-requirement and elimination factor on entrance exams. It is an inevitable part of every professional music education.

MUSIC THEORY LESSONS (individual lessons)
Music theory lessons can include, if desired: solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, music form, analysis, and/or other music theory-related subjects. For each subject, we can make a special program, depending on the wishes and needs of the student.

COMBINED SOLFEGGIO AND SINGING LESSONS
Combined solfeggio and singing lessons are also possible for adults, as separate subjects or integrated with singing lessons. In both cases, the duration of each lesson is 90 minutes and the program is discussed and created based on the wishes and needs of the student. (A combination of individual singing lessons and a group solfeggio lesson is also possible.*)

AUDITION TRAINING AND PREPARATION FOR EXAMS (individual lessons)
Preparation for auditions concerning singing and/or music theory includes preparation for entrance exams, regular exams on conservatories, or preparation for ABRSM exams.

BACKGROUND:
Dominyka is a professional singer, singing, and piano teacher that is currently based in The Hague. She plays piano, violin and writes her own music.
Over the past decade, she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in jazz singing and in pedagogical minor studies. She had a chance to participate in various music festivals as a singer, have concerts of her own, be behind the scenes in various TV shows, and win several vocal competitions, and she truly developed her ears and her knowledge that she is now also able to help others to find their own unique singing voice.

She has developed her knowledge of vocal technique, CVT method, stage presence, body language, storytelling, composition, writing, improvisation and so on. with various great teachers from all over the world. As well as, she had the honour to participate in workshops of Snarky Puppy, Dianne Reeves, Dena DeRose, Bob Stoloff, Norma Winstone, Magda Mayas, Fay Classon, etc. In addition, she took a course with Stevie Mackey, and Cheryl Porter and had lessons with Natalie Weiss. We work on warm-ups/warm-downs, breath support and its control, sound projection, how the larynx, jaw, and tongue work and can function freely, vowel placement, vocal effects, vocal color, dynamics, articulation, stage presence, high notes - power singing (belting), jazz improvisation, vocal improvisation, interpretations, rhythmic variations, and so much more.

Hi, my name is Eva. I'm a classically trained singer with a bachelor's degree in singing from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I love to learn and research about voice.

In my lessons, I pay attention to vocal technique (breath, phonation, resonance, articulation) and body movement. Our whole body is our instrument, so I like to incorporate exercises from different sources like Tao Face Yoga, Yoga, Qigong etc.
Structure and consistency are important, but on the other hand, singing is also all about playfulness and spontaneity. So I try to keep that balance in the lesson.
But the most important to me is that I create a warm and safe environment where students feel safe to open up and dare to express, feel, and explore their voices.

Our voice is not only a tool to express, but have also positive effects on our hormones and nervous system. So singing is not only fun but also good for you!

I have been exploring and studying (my) voice for over 10 years. I attended many masterclasses and training sessions focused on breathing, vocal technique, acting, stage presence, and more, giving me a broad knowledge and understanding of the voice.

Hi !

I am Héloïse, a french cellist and singer who lives in The Netherlands since two years. I finished to study at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium in june and am now a professional musician and, among other a cello teacher at the Lindenberg Center in Nijmegen.

After teaching music theory for two years in a french conservatory, I realised how much teaching is very important for me and helps me to grow as a musician. I like to adapt to the student and try to find a solution in any pedagogical situation.
I can teach all cello and singing levels, and all ages. I can also give some music theory lessons.
