Welcome to my Foundation Course in Science and Maths, specially designed for primary, secondary, and high school students in Amsterdam. This course aims to build a strong foundation in these critical subjects, ensuring students excel academically and develop a genuine love for learning.

My teaching approach is focused on making learning enjoyable and engaging. I incorporate interactive activities and hands-on experiments to bring Science and Maths concepts to life. As a dedicated PhD student in biochemistry at EPFL, I offer personalized tutoring in chemistry and biochemistry for students at high school, university, or master’s level. I have a degree in Biotechnology and a Master's in Biomedicine, and a C1 level in English. I've been passionate about biology since childhood and have been studying it for years, both formally and independently.

I offer classes adapted to all levels: from the most basic content taught in ESO and Bachillerato (classification of living beings, zoology and botany at an introductory level, the cell, genetics, ecology, evolution, etc.) to the most advanced topics, typical of university studies, such as microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry or molecular biology.

My goal is for you to understand biology clearly and logically, using practical examples, solved exercises, and real-world cases to make learning dynamic and tailored to your needs. We will develop critical thinking and the scientific method so you can confidently tackle your exams and studies.

I can also teach biology in English, including general biology, cell biology, molecular biology and related fields. My classes are clear, adaptable and suitable for both high-school and university students.

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student. I believe that strong understanding comes from solid foundations, so if a student is struggling with a topic, we will break it down to a more basic level, identify any misconceptions, and rebuild confidence step by step until the full topic is secure. For students who are more confident or looking to push themselves, I’m equally happy to move at a faster pace, cover content in greater depth, and work through more challenging and higher-level problems.

Lessons are typically at least one hour long, as this allows enough time to properly explore concepts and practise exam-style questions, but I’m flexible with lesson length depending on what works best for the student.

I have over a year of tutoring experience, including private GCSE Maths tuition, as well as experience at my secondary school through Elite Maths (supporting students who wanted to explore higher-level mathematics) and Maths Clinic (helping students who were struggling to improve their understanding and grades). This has given me experience working with a wide range of abilities and learning styles.

I offer lessons in GCSE and A-level Maths and Further Maths, as well as GCSE and A-level Physics and Chemistry. My lessons are suitable for students who are aiming to improve their grades, build confidence, or challenge themselves beyond the syllabus.

I am Ayman, a chemist holding a PhD in General, Organic, and Industrial Chemistry, obtained in France in 2022. I have over seven years of experience providing high-level tutoring in chemistry (university level), supporting students across diverse academic programs.
