I am Dimitrios, I am a greek professional guitarist. I graduated with a masters degree in Jazz guitar from Conservatorium van Amsterdam and also studied in the UK conservatory of Leeds. As a musician my primary focus is jazz music but I also often play other styles like soul, Rnb and more. So far in my teaching career I have had experience with many different ages, from 7 to 40 years old and I think I have managed to pass on to them some of my passion for music. Whether you want to learn to play your favourite tunes, learn to improvise or get some in depth knowledge about music theory and harmony we can work out a suited lesson plan for you. Happy to teach any level and any style from rock to jazz and electric or acoustic guitar. As every person learns differently, my approach always depends on the student and what you want to get from the music and the guitar. I have designed this class to cover all of these bases and more for the trombonists out there seeking guidance. This course will cover jazz theory topics such as writing a cohesive chord progression, chord spelling, scale use, and writing melodies. It will also cover sight reading, solo transcription, and learning standards in the different eras of jazz, from Traditional Jazz to Hard Bop to Fusion.
