In my one-to-one online courses, you will find a room just for yourself, where you will be coached within a German-speaking setting. Each lesson depends on your needs and aims, which may be to improve a specific linguistic feature such as pronunciation, grammar, spelling, or vocabulary. Or it may be to work on a specific goal, e.g. an official language exam, finding work in German-speaking countries, or bureaucratic issues. Or it can just be a conversation to gain fluency.
In our class, I will also point out what you can do during the week to further improve your German language skills and get closer to your goals and I will hand out to you the study material you need.

L’allemand peut paraître difficile à beaucoup de personnes — mais ce n’est pas tout à fait vrai. C’est une langue logique et structurée. Si elle semble compliquée, c’est souvent à cause d’approches trop théoriques, d’explications peu claires ou d’expériences scolaires décourageantes.

Après avoir accompagné plusieurs élèves en Suisse romande, j’ai constaté que les difficultés viennent rarement de la langue elle-même, mais plutôt de la manière dont elle est enseignée.

Je propose une méthode pratique et personnalisée, où la communication occupe une place centrale et la théorie intervient lorsque cela est nécessaire pour mieux comprendre la langue. L’objectif est de développer votre intuition, votre confiance et le plaisir de parler.

En Suisse, un défi supplémentaire s’ajoute : le suisse-allemand. L’allemand standard ne correspond pas toujours aux mots et expressions utilisés dans la vie quotidienne en Suisse alémanique. Dans mes cours, je prends cette réalité en compte afin de vous donner des repères concrets et utiles.

Apprendre une langue ne consiste pas à réciter des listes de vocabulaire, ni à traduire mentalement chaque phrase. Parler allemand, c’est apprendre à penser progressivement dans la langue.

Mon expérience m’a également montré qu’un parallèle avec l’anglais peut parfois éclairer certaines notions, car l’anglais et l’allemand partagent des racines. Cela peut rendre certaines structures plus accessibles et logiques.

I am a native German teacher with over 20 years of experience. My classes are dynamic and fun. I use a simple method to learn declensions and express yourself naturally.

In addition to the course book, we'll use reading materials from level A1 to B1, and from there on, literature for native speakers. We'll work with audio and video recordings, both with questions to answer. Basically, I'll expose you to the language in real life, not just with teaching materials.

I grew up in Switzerland in a multilingual environment. Swiss German is my mother tongue, and I completed my high school education bilingually in German and French. Later, I studied in the United Kingdom and now work professionally in English in the medical field.

I am a native German speaker and have a C1 level of English. I focus particularly on conversation practice (speaking/Sprechen), as this is my strongest skill, but I can also help with grammar, comprehension, homework, and exam preparation.

Hello! Bonjour à toutes et tous! Hola! Hallo!

I'm a chemist and nanotechnologist with a passion for science and education. I’m an easy-going and enthusiastic person with a wide range of hobbies and interests — and I love sharing my knowledge in a fun and engaging way.

From a young age, I was fascinated by the natural sciences, especially chemistry. I completed my high school diploma with a focus on chemistry and biology, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s in High Technologies.

To complete my second Master's thesis, I studied Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies in France. During this time, I interned at a start-up, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in nanochemistry methods for cancer treatment and immunotherapy.

I've also been actively teaching since I was 18 by offering private tutoring to children and university students for over eight years, and later working as a lecturer at a private engineering school in Kyiv for two years. I have also prepared students for competitive chemistry exams, including regional Olympiads.

I know how to design lessons that are both educational and inspiring. My goal is to help students truly understand scientific concepts and enjoy the learning process.

Currently, I'm pursuing a teaching diploma for upper-secondary schools (Maturitätsschulen / High schools) in Chemistry at PHBern (Teacher University of Bern, Switzerland).

I'm looking for motivated students who want to improve their skills in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Mathematics, and who want to enjoy learning along the way.

I am currently in my fourth semester of teacher training and have been giving private tutoring lessons on and off since finishing high school. Two years ago, I started tutoring privately as a side job, giving up to eight hours of private lessons per week in the subjects mentioned above, or whatever else was needed, for students aged 8 to 23.

For me, the personal aspect is central. It's important to me to see each student and try to understand where their understanding is lacking, and then to build on that understanding. With kindness and patience, I try to support their learning and motivate them.

I'm currently in the 4th semester of training to learn and, after completing the obligatory school course, I don't have to regulate the cours de soutien scolaire.
