Hi! I’m Femke, and I give personalized Dutch classes tailored to your goals – whether you need Dutch for study, work, travel, or just because you love learning new languages.

Although our main focus will be Dutch, I also speak English, French, Spanish, and German. That means I can explain tricky grammar points in a way that makes sense to you, and I understand what it’s like to learn a language from scratch. As a passionate language learner myself, I know the challenges, the frustrations, and—most importantly—the excitement when things start to click.

My lessons are interactive, practical, and always adapted to your needs. I’ll help you grow your confidence step by step, so you don’t just learn rules, but actually feel comfortable speaking and using Dutch in real life. Hi! I’m Femke, a native Dutch speaker from the Netherlands. I’m 30 years old, living on a farm with my husband and our two young daughters. I studied European Studies, Intercultural Communication, and Globalization, and I’ve always been passionate about languages and cultures. Besides Dutch, I speak English, French, Spanish, and German, and I know some Arabic too.

I love teaching, traveling, singing, painting, swimming, being outdoors, and making jewelry with crystals. I’ve taught students from all over the world and truly enjoy helping people reach their goals while keeping lessons fun and personal.

I studied French Teacher Training and European Studies in the Netherlands, and later completed a master’s in Intercultural Communication and Globalization in Mexico. During my studies I also focused on Spanish, English, French, and German, and gained some knowledge of Arabic.

I specialize in teaching Arabic and Darija to non-native speakers. My goal is to challenge but not overwhelm the student. I give homework after each lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

Furthermore, I teach my students how to speak Moroccan Darija in a few months. The lessons are online via Teams.

The price is per student/hour, if you have two children the amount is times two and so on.

I come to your home for groups of 10 students or more.

I specialize in (online) teaching integration courses. This concerns the integration exam that must be taken abroad.

The lessons are given in Dutch - Arabic

All teaching materials also come with an Arabic translation.

The aim is to get the candidates up to A1 level in Dutch in a relatively short period of time.

The main goal is to pass the civic integration exam.

During the Dutch lessons, extra focus, attention and time is therefore devoted to the exam components.

That's because my father is an imam and he taught me the Quran. I now have 20 ahzaab alhamdulilah. I can warsh and hafs. And I also do tajweed (the rules). In addition to my experiences with the Quran, I am in the third grammar school. I would be happy to help you with the struggles you have with reading/learning the Quran.
