Het begrijpen van de hedendaagse beeldende kunst is vaak niet vanzelfsprekend. In deze les leer je via het werk van Andy Goldsworthy nadenken over de filosofische concepten die de kunstenaar bezighouden en drijven. Je zult een aantal universele principes aanleren van kijken en begrijpen, die je ook op andere kunstwerken kan toepassen.

Ik hou van een uitdaging waar ik mijn kennis graag deel en zelf ook iets nieuws te leren.

Heb jij een vraag of begeleiding nodig op het gebied van schrijven laat het me weten. Ik schrijf nu als freelancer veel losse opdrachten en publiceer eigen werk wat veelal op mijn passie kunst en onderwijs is gericht. Ik heb jaren aan de Pabo gestudeerd waar ik artikelen, onderzoeken, een essay en mijn scriptie succesvol heb afgerond.

Ik zou graag begeleiding willen geven aan de schrijvers die er even niet uitkomen, uitleg nodig hebben of voor welke vraag dan ook.

Currently I am studying pharmacy at university, I did GCSE + ALEVEL Art and Design - obtaining A* (100%) in both.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns.

Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

You will learn how to operate a camera on manual mode, either digital or analog (digital recommended). We will make photographs together on the street (majority) and in a studio of subjects including:
architecture, portraits, still life, landscape, fashion and any other subjects of interest.

We will work together on getting the image from the camera onto the computer in the correct format and then how edit and eventually print the image in high quality. With this we will look at different papers and the effect that they have on your image.

We will cover some monumental photographers that have shaped the history of the medium and we will explore current photographers that are currently exhibiting in Antwerpen, this includes visits to Ibasho Gallery, Stieglitz19, FOMU.

We will make an end product that will consist of one large print framed, a small zine based on one concept/theme. to achieve this we will work together in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.

The course for both beginners and advanced art lovers.
In this course you will learn:
- how to work with the watercolour medium
- learn about material and technique
- colour and composition
- different styles
- create your own artworks ( plants or flowers, animals, landscape, figures, abstract)

In deze les leer ik je alle handige tips & tricks om je portrettekening tot je recht te laten komen! We gaan kijken naar verhoudingen, detail, lichtinval en materiaalgebruik. Eventueel is les aan huis ook mogelijk als je alles gelijk in praktijk wil brengen! (omgeving Dokkum, binnen een straal van 15 km, benzinekosten worden wel gerekend)

Bij mijn lessen krijg je de juiste tools en kennis van de meest recente apps om meteen aan de slag te gaan om te beginnen met je eerste illustratie te maken.
Je krijg ook bij de lessen een crash course In kunst geschiedenis.
Ik heb 15 jaar ervaring, en ook sinds 2016 afgestudeerd bij de Gerrit Rietveld.

These lessons are designed to develop drawing and painting skills. Not only will you be able to practice drawing and painting techniques under my guidance, you will also learn to express yourself and your creativity by experimenting with different materials, colours and textures. Together we will choose the subject and desired outcome of each lesson, so that you can develop your own style with my support.
I offer specialised lessons in portraiture and/or observational drawing.

Always wanted to learn how to draw by hand?
I'll take you step-by-step through the art of drawing. We will work in Black & White with materials you can find at home. No experience needed or expensive materials.
We look at examples in art history and drawing techniques will be explained.
You will be working on different exercises and it will be fun.

Also for more experienced students, this is an excellent course: you will be surprised by what you can learn!

Ik geloof dat iedereen kan tekenen. Het enige dat daarvoor nodig is, is gaan zitten, beginnen, en blijven oefenen. Ik heb mijzelf aangeleerd om gezichten/portretten te tekenen en daarom word ik erg enthousiast van het overbrengen van mijn creatieve proces aan anderen, zodat zij ook zelf aan de slag kunnen gaan met hetgeen zij willen creëren.

Mijn kunst en creatieve proces heb ik gedurende heel mijn leven ontwikkeld. Na opleidingen van drie verschillende kunstacademies, waaronder Willem de Kooning in Rotterdam, ben ik nu inmiddels 8 jaar fulltime werkzaam als kunstenaar. Ik maak mijn werken met acrylverf, maar teken en schets daarnaast nog steeds veel op papier. Mijn kunststijl is een mix van spontaan-realisme en abstract kleurgebruik, pop-art en comic style.

Heb je interesse om creatief bezig te zijn, ook al weet je nog niet hoe en/of je het kan? Geen zorgen. Samen gaan we aan de slag en vind jij jouw manier van tekenen of schilderen.

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.

Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!

Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.

The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.

(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)

For the past eight years, I’ve worked as a technician and tutor at the Royal College of Art and UAL, supporting students in fashion, fine art, and product design with their Rhino and Blender projects.

Before that, I worked as a model maker, and now I’m focused on teaching and creating fine art.

Blender.
I offer instruction in creating detailed static renderings, producing digital models ready for 3D printing, and understanding Blender’s workflows for a professional finish.

Rhino.
I'll help you navigate Rhino’s precision tools, preparing your designs for 3D printing and CNC production with an emphasis on detail and accuracy.

I can guide you through both foundational and advanced techniques in Blender or Rhino, ensuring you develop a strong understanding of the software’s tools and workflows. Ik geef kunstgeschiedenis aan iedereen die wil, ongeacht leeftijd of niveau, online of bij mij thuis in Velp. Je kunt leren over onder andere de beeldende kunst, muziek en literatuur van de prehistorie t/m nu. Je kunt werken richting een examen/tentamen/opleiding of gewoon leren vanuit interesse. Of het nu gaat om de david van Michelangelo of de graffiti op de muren van Dubai, ik vertel je er graag over. Er is van alles mogelijk.

Ik ben opgeleid tot musicus/schrijver en docent. Ik heb al meer dan 10 jaar ervaring in het onderwijs en geef onder andere al een aantal jaar kunstgeschiedenis, muziekgeschiedenis, creatief schrijven en andere vakken aan de bovenbouw van een kleine middelbare school, waar ik ook teamlid ben. With a background melting classical and contemporary clarinet performance, to theatrical movement, masks, and storytelling, I bring a fresh approach to music education. My experience includes leading creative workshops for children through the Philharmonie de Paris and developing artistic projects for young audiences.

In my classes, we explore sound as character, rhythm as movement, and performance as story.
For me, the body is the key to learning : I guide students to develop their body awareness as part of learning, an approach often missing from traditional lessons.

We will explore:

Clarinet technique
Musical interpretation
Improvisation and creativity exercises
Stage presence, movement, and breathing
Connecting music to visual or theatrical elements
Bonus (if possible and committed!) :programming small performances for families, social gatherings, or cultural events

My teaching philosophy: Music is not only notes on a page, it’s a living art that connects body, breath, and imagination. I meet each student where they are, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and authentic expression.
