I am an ambitious person who looks always for personal improvement. I especially feel grateful to stand out there and help younger students to comprehend and study math and English subjects in simple and not complicated ways, as they used to be taught in schools. This class is for those who want to learn mathematics. I believe that math is fun and I try my best to make mathematics fun. A lot of us really don’t realize because it is taught in a robotic way. You’re given a problem and you’re asked to memorize steps to solve it and then you just blindly apply it and try to be careful so you don’t make an error, but you don’t really know why you’re doing those steps. It shouldn’t be like that. It should really about being creative, coming up with those steps on your own and everyone will come up with a different way to do it. Mathematics is great because there is always one answer, but there are many ways to come to that answer. And in school we are taught one way to come to that answer, so mathematics is about coming up with your own creative ways to come to that one right answer. There’s not one path and everybody has their personal path that they can discover and that’s what makes it fun. That’s the adventurous part of mathematics, the creative part of mathematics and we miss that in the way mathematics is taught. So I try to show my student's what mathematics is, and after that things become very easy. You won't have to memorize anything, but you should be ready to do some hard work.

When I was a young child, I believed I was not a mathematical person.

It wasn't until I met an amazing teacher at age 15 that I discovered my mathematical genius and my life was changed forever.

I'm eternally grateful to that teacher.

My teacher knew that self-image and self-belief is the key to unlocking your child's mathematical abilities.
