Hi! My name is Porter, and I'm originally from the US but now live in The Hague. I'm a classically trained percussionist, but I love experimenting and exploring sounds and styles. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to work as a musician, and I look forward to every opportunity to share that passion with others.
I enjoy experimenting with found objects and natural materials, creating my own music. Besides playing in standard ensembles and performing on stages throughout the Netherlands, my passion lies in sharing the potential of percussion as an instrument for change and awareness. Offering meaningful lessons and promoting the joy of music is, for me, an extension of this passion, and I look forward to working with you!
