A graduate of two prestigious music schools in England, the ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) and the BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music Institute), I have built my artistic career between Switzerland, England, and France. I had the honor of representing Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015, before continuing my career as a singer-songwriter under the name Melyz. Throughout my career, I have guided many students in the realization of their artistic and professional projects. Some have gone on to gain admission to renowned programs such as Berklee College of Music or the EMA preparatory class, while others have prepared for competitions and auditions such as the Swiss Voice Tour or the Star Academy castings. My experience in performance, recording, and artistic guidance allows me to offer a practical and professional perspective on vocal and artistic development. I pay particular attention to expression, interpretation, and the construction of an authentic artistic identity, in order to help each student progress with confidence and achieve their goals. My teaching method is based on listening, kindness and adapting to each student, regardless of their level. I put my experience of performing and teaching at the service of your voice, and the pleasure of singing. Vocal technique, interpretation, breathing, stage presence and self-confidence: each course is designed to help you progress, while developing your own artistic identity.

The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford is where I studied. I can teach theory as well as technique. Ear training and improvisation is also included.

I am someone who loves sewing and learning new techniques. I would be delighted to share my knowledge and would be happy to do so. I look forward to passing on everything I know to help anyone interested in sewing in general. Alongside my studies, I also have a clothing brand called Won Unknown, through which I give free rein to all my creativity.

I hold a degree in Earth Sciences and have gained solid experience teaching geography through substitute teaching in several schools. My numerous professional stays abroad have also allowed me to complement my theoretical knowledge with practical experience in both human and physical geography. As an external collaborator, I recently worked on a project aimed at improving the understanding and management of transboundary groundwater. In this context, I contributed to writing popular science articles on various water-related topics and collaborated on the development of an educational electronic game (serious game). On behalf of a foundation, I helped develop an exhibition about water in Valais and worked as a guide for school visits. For a hotel management school, I developed a geotourism curriculum. On a more occasional basis, I also participated in information days and conferences for students in middle and high school.

Fluent in French,German,Italian and Spanish , I have been living in the alps for nearly 20 years and am passionate about languages and their ability to help us have a more interesting life. I am happy to do conversation classes and help you improve your English at whichever level you desire. Or to brush up on your Italian or Spanish before your next holiday for example.
