My love for this wonderful instrument and my extensive experience have made it possible to achieve many successes with my students, such as helping them pass auditions for music schools and music colleges, as well as receive very good results in competitions.

From personal experience, having changed my violin-playing technique several times, I put emphasis on the bow-hold, holding of the violin, and playing with the left hand. I strive for, as much as possible, a relaxed body during playing. My favorite part of teaching is discovering how to interpret individual musical pieces along with the students, so every feeling and every story is reflected in the sound. I am very thankful that I have had the opportunity to learn from so many excellent musicians who have always treated music as fantasy that has not limits.

Professional Violin teacher holding a 15 years + Degree from Conservatory of Padua, Italy, with several years of experience teaching both in Europe and abroad. My methods include the preparatory works for AMEB examination, the Suzuki method, as well as my own method based on European Violin Syllabus and technical works (i.e. Curci). I teach students of all ages and levels, including adults. Parents are encouraged to attend their child's private lessons so that students can be supervised and encouraged when practicing at home. After successfully completing his music studies (Music Bachelor), he won a grant from the Brazilian government and emigrated to the Netherlands to take up postgraduate studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Prof. Vladimir Mendelssohn. He received his Masters in Solo Performance and Chamber Music with Honors. His diverse musical activities have taken him - both as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher - on concert tours to Brazil, Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Asia.
Jadenir lived in Vienna from 2007 to 2016. There he performed between 2005 and 2010 as principal violist of the “Spirit of Europe” chamber orchestra, in which he was also a member of the artistic advisory board and was involved in planning-relevant decisions on artistic and organizational issues. He also played in the RSO Vienna and the Ambassade Orchestra Vienna.
Jadenir has lived and worked in Berlin since 2016. With chamber music as the center of his life, he founded several ensembles with different line-ups in 2017. In addition to his artistic activity, viola lessons have been an important part of his life for many years. As a viola teacher, he has been in close contact with music festivals and music schools since 2007, especially those that are dedicated to social projects.

About my viola lessons

I offer dynamic and playful lessons. The goal of my lessons is to break the barrier between music and technology, so these are not taught separately from each other. Rather, I see technology as the merging of movement, breathing and sound.
Beginners and advanced learners of all ages from 10 years are welcome. I convey all kinds of music, their style and technique. I am happy to help advanced students prepare for entrance exams, auditions, auditions and competitions. I also offer coaching for chamber music ensembles.
The key to successful viola lessons lies in a transparent and open exchange: I therefore encourage the students to share their needs and expectations; and the family is also involved in their musical development.
My two main instruments were made especially for me and I was able to exchange ideas with the violin makers during the instrument making, which gave me extensive knowledge of the manufacture, setup and care of a string instrument. I am also happy to pass on my knowledge to my students in this area. Because with the growing understanding of the acoustics of the viola, one's own playing technique and trust in the instrument develop.
English, Portuguese, Spanish or Italian are also possible as the language of instruction.

To generate interest in children to learn, constant dynamics are needed, which I have worked on for several years with different methodology that can be used for the development of musical learning, through games, which encompasses the physical, the visual and the auditory.

Learning by playing is the most used tool in my classes for children aged 7 and up.

I believe in a holistic music teaching style! This means I teach music by ear and using sheet music. Ideally, my students will learn to enjoy making music with their instrument and be able to hear the progress they are making each week. We will learn how to read music, music theory, and musical pieces at your level. I always teach in a student-focused way: what the student gets excited about is what I will teach! My name is Luciano and I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years and I have worked in several institutes and embassies as a teacher and cultural bridge. I am currently living in Berlin where I am developing a personal project and working as a teacher online and in face-to-face classes.

Normally I am interested in generating a creative bond with my students and that is why I work with many of them for relatively long periods of time. In the classes I am interested in having a solid grammar structure but the emphasis is on conversation. In this way I feel that a rich and interesting interaction is generated where, honestly, I myself learn from my students‘ experiences and points of view.

I am convinced, as a language learner myself, that learning a language is not simply a tool for communication. I feel that to learn another language is to open oneself to another code or way of thinking and perceiving the world. For example, Romance languages (Spanish, Italian, French, etc.) think and feel the world in a different way than Germanic languages (English, German, etc.) I am fascinated by these differences and similarities. Traveling in Japan, I could only admire the beauty of how we represent the world through our language.

I feel that in a world that is becoming increasingly depersonalized and where artificial intelligence and algorithms seem to creep into every corner of our lives, maintaining human, imperfect and warm contacts is a form of resistance. In that sense, both in my project with sacred languages such as philosophy and astrology and in language classes, I try to maintain the human dimension and respect the beauty and multidimensionality of communication.

Apart from my background in philosophy at university, I am interested in art, politics, culture as an expression of an epoch, psychoanalysis, comparative religions, etc. In this context, with many of my more advanced students we work with texts and films where our interests intersect.

For the more beginning classes the emphasis is also on conversation, but with a grammatical framework and progression. That is why I am interested in understanding the students‘ objectives. Whether learning for pleasure or for a trip, to take an international exam or for cultural reasons, I believe that framing the classes in a structure allows the creative to emerge.
