Présentation

Kostas is a composer, producer and session guitarist based in London. He stepped into music at a young age, initially trained as a guitarist. However, his passion for experimentation led him to writing and producing his own music. Paying great attention to detail, Kostas is always looking to craft unique sounds to use in his productions. His music reflects his broad range of interests from film and classical to pop, electro and soul combining elements of each in his compositions.

Kostas is a guitar and music production tutor at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) and is also available for private lessons on guitar, music theory and music production.

As a professional guitar player Kostas has taken part in many studio recordings and live performances with established artists in various music styles such as pop, trip hop, funk and rock.

My method is ... LEARN BY MAKING YOUR MUSIC!

The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.

I specialise in writing and composing music for all levels. The student will need to have a music programme such as Logic or Ableton in order to be able to take this class.
