I am a well-prepared teacher and someone fun to study with. I have about 8 years of experience teaching all levels. I graduated from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University and I currently study a master's degree in classical piano at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

I live in Ijburg and I have a wonderful Bösendorfer Grand Piano!

During my lessons, you will learn to perform the music that you dream and aim to achieve.

Whether you want to become a musician or not, my main goal is that you will learn healthy practice habits and foster values such as patience and discipline. Developing an effective and positive mindset will have an impact on your learning. I am a multi-award-winning concert pianist with a wide experience as a soloist performance.

My main goal is to foster music lovers and to help the students to keep discovering the capabilities and potential of their minds regarding their age.

I am a very committed professional and passionate about trying to give my best in everything I do. Although I take my profession very seriously, I am a fun teacher to study with and I am also a very social person. I will make sure that during my lesson you will feel comfortable.
I am very resilient. Patience and discipline have led me on an incredible journey of making music across the world, and I want to foster these values in anyone who studies with me. In addition to my profession as a classical musician, I try to lead a balanced life, where exercise, friends, and the practice of mindfulness are a regular habit in my daily life.

From my studio at the Berlagebrug, I give Piano lessons to beginners and (semi) advanced students. The lessons take place on a Yamaha wing and when a piece is well under control, we can make a professional recording of it.

I graduated in 1992 as a musician from the Hilversum Conservatory (nowadays Conservatory of Amsterdam) in the direction of light music, or jazz and pop. So with me, you learn not only to read notes but also chord schemes and - if you want - improvisation. Or we search together for a song that you would like to play and make a nice adaptation of it. Together we first look at exactly what you want to learn and align the curriculum.

I can also help you learn how to compose and produce. I work with Pro Tools and Logic Pro X.

For classical Piano lessons, I would rather refer you to someone else.

I am Keith, a Hong Kong percussionist based in Amsterdam and currently finishing my master degree in the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I have won several major international competitions and have great experience in performing. I have also taught privately and conducted masterclasses to inspire the next generation of percussionists.
The best thing of being a percussionist is that you can play and find music anytime anywhere! Whether if it's a timpani or your comb, you can produce so many different sounds and exciting rhythm. With one technique, you can almost play anything!
If you are a total beginner with music, percussion is one of the easiest way into it. Instruments sound nice already when you play them. Lessons start from knowing the pulse and developing your groove, to knowing the notes and establishing basic musicality. Then slowly you will explore the vast sound world of percussion, starting with drums, mallets instrument or any objects that you can think of!
If you are looking for more help in excelling in your craft, my professional experience can offer you great guidance and advice, no matter if it's technically or artistically, or even stage presence and healthy mindset.

A: With similar technique, you can play mallets instruments like marimba which has a warm healing sound, or orchestral instruments like triangle or tambourine. And with the rhythmic sense from learning drum set, you can literally play groove in the world, no matter if it is latin or asian or middle east! The sky is the limit!

Q: What do you value the most in your lesson?
A: Sincerity and curiosity. I hope we can have honest communication and I can offer you new inspiration every lessons.

Q: How do you keep your lessons engaging and fun?
A: It all starts with your own interest and passion. If you have a specific genre or instrument that you like, we will build your musical sense from there, even if it's death metal or jazz. I will offer you different kinds of exercises and ideas until you own the skill.

As a teacher with more than 6 years of experience, I offer private lessons for all ages and all levels.
I learned my teaching skills from famous flute teachers of our time. I have experience teaching both children and adults and I think it is essential that we both have fun while learning something as wonderful as playing music! Hello there!

My name is Antek and i'm a cellist and composer who graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a cellist I've had the pleasure and honour of collaborating with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, being part of his 2022 European Tour Orchestra, touring over 15 countries and playing in locations such as London's O2 Arena or Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. I am now mainly active as a performer of contemporary/experimental music, as well as classical music, freelancing in various orchestras in the Netherlands, having played in venues such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Concertgebouw or TivoliVredenburg.
