Trusted teacher: The lessons will delve into both the technical and musical aspects of piano playing, theory, reading music, harmony, ear training, technique, pedagogy and more. My aim is to equip students to understand different music styles, build confidence, discover their unique voice and continue their musical journey independently. As Thelonious Monk said, the piano ain’t got no wrong notes. I'm passionate about traversing genres since I have studied both jazz and classical to a high level, making this class perfect for creative pianists and composers who want to go beyond reading music off a piece of paper. Trinity/ABRSM curriculum upto Grade 8, can also be optionally included. Teaching effective practice methods is a priority, ensuring students progress confidently and without leaning on me. Please note, I only teach in person to maintain high standards of guidance in technique. This is not possible via video conferencing. Since everyone asks: yes, I did study at Berklee College of Music as an undergraduate for some time, and I do help students out with their audition preparation for various music colleges! Currently, my students are between 14 and 74 years old— I believe that it’s never too late or too early to begin your musical journey. Haralambie has provided incredible support throughout our sessions in a variety of challenging areas of mathematics. The breadth of Haralambie's expertise is evident in the many ways he can demonstrate the idea. I have benefitted from Haralambie's clarity in showing the relevance of specific theorems and how they connect with upcoming material. I have learned a lot from our sessions and he marries the conceptual gaps that come up by explaining the ideas and properties very well. Haralambie provides guidance, patience, and context to the topics covered in subjects that are otherwise disorienting. We work together to hammer out a conceptual stump. My learning experience with Haralambie is fun and engaging, and his input and guidance has been incredibly helpful in elucidating areas that I have missed which improves my approach to future problems.

Yuvraj is a wonderful teacher! I've been studying piano for half a year with him, and the progress never stops. He teaches everything that you need to be a pianist, including the technique, classical theory, jazz theory, as well as how to find good new songs. Within the few months that I've had him, he quickly took me from having zero practical music knowledge to being able to read and play Trinity grade 3 songs on my own. Yuvraj always tries to make piano something fun and enjoyable, rather than just another annoying thing to grind all the time. This is the guy for those who want to learn with a relaxed, slow and steady attitude. Even better if you're down to challenge yourself with new, unconventional music that you might not expect. While I don't really have anything to compare him to, I am very happy learning piano with Yuvraj.
