Our lessons are conducted one-on-one, in my garden in Amman or over Zoom – wherever you are! I use the Growing Participator Approach (GPA) method of language acquisition, building comprehension and communication skills through storytelling and dialogues relevant to daily and cultural life in the Arab world. In the first level, we work with a picture book, dolls, and other props that reflect how one would naturally learn a language. In the second level, I start telling you small stories which you then retell to me using the essential vocabulary. In later levels, we dive into more complex and authentic materials. After every lesson, I send you a list of the words we covered and an audio recording of the new story and vocabulary. In doing so, I help you create your own personal library of written and audio resources.
