Trusted teacher: I aim to help people who decided to start a career in software development even for those without a prior interaction with programming. That's quite a journey so my job is not only to teach you the technology, but also help you build healthy long-term relationships with the craft based on appreciation and curiosity rather than financial incentives. We'll achieve that by - limiting pressure. We focus at one thing at a time and move forward when you feel like it, not when I say so - using day to day life metaphors to make sense of complex programming concepts - implementing your ideas instead of boring exercises - having a chat to discuss programming stuff beyond the lessons My approach is the result of teaching dozens of students first in my alma-mater university, then at my job as a part of internship program. It was always about career, but the proper underlying motivation I've learned the hard way after a few of my students had developed burnouts and the impostor syndrome quickly after their first employments. And they'd liked programming in the first place! So we'll do our best to avoid that and in the meantime we'll learn - how to write programs in C# - how to write good programs in C#, what does a "good program" mean and how can you feel it even if you lack experience - related technologies, all those abbreviations you saw in job descriptions: SQL, HTTP, REST API, ASP.NET, etc. - probably a bit of frontend development, if you want or need to apply for fullstack position

Hi All, I'm Madalina, 27 years old software developer. I finished Computer Science high school and university in Romania and Hungary. Working as a full-time backend Java software developer in the past 5 years and full stack (backend + front-end) in the past 2 years. I have experience in teaching and training since 2012. During the lessons the used language for back-end is Java. For front-end HTML, CSS, AngularJS. For fastening up the learning process a personal laptop for the students in the intermediate group, would be optimal. For this purpose I start 3 teams: 1. Beginners : Primary school students or persons interested to have some basic concepts and terminology regarding software development: searching and sorting algorithms, variables, parameters, function overriding, pseudo language, functions, procedures, data structures, pure HTML and CSS. 2. Intermediate: concepts of dns servers and lookup, frameworks definitions and introduction, SQL queries, Hibernate framework, query and processing database objects in Java, http, web services, JSON format, SpringBoot, unit testing JUnit, full stack approach, HTML, CSS and introduction to Angular JS. 3. Advanced : Group for students in the first and second year of university, with a full stack approach. Already familiar with the knowledge of an intermediate student. During the lessons a brief introduction to Java frameworks, project delivery, project management frameworks Agile Scrum and Lean, continuous delivery Jenkins, SpringBoot + AngularJs, implementation of website, database handling, login form, security. Regards, Madalina

Hands on computers programming and general knowledge lessons for beginners or professionals (Amsterdam)
Mihai
Mihai is a very knowledgeable teacher. He can answer any question you ask him. He also addresses topics that are not his area of expertise per se and explains them to you in simple terms. His examples are easy to follow and linked to real problems. Yet, they are complex enough so that you can apply them afterwards. Overall, I highly recommend Mihai to anyone, beginner or advanced!
