Science is everywhere around us, and understanding it is a powerful tool. As a biologist myself, I use a hands-on approach that ofter refers to everyday life to teach the basics of scientific disciplines, ranging from biology to chemistry, to physics and earth science. This class is especially tailored to young students up to high school level, but anyone is more than welcome to join: knowledge is meant to share!

Do you need extra guidance when writing your thesis (HBO / WO)? Then you can contact me. I can help with the correct formulation of sentences, grammar and the layout of the thesis. I also master the basis of SPPS, which means that I may also be able to help you with that. If you are writing your thesis for the PABO or educational sciences, there is a good chance that I can also help you substantively!

As a student, I can vividly remember which teaching methods helped me the most and I know how to simply explain complex topics so that it is easy to understand. I have several experiences with tutoring, especially children from 6-14 years old. I assign homeworks to check whether we ́ve made a progress. With me, learning certain subject or improving your skills will be mostly fun and interactive so that the student will remember more what we ́ve discussed.

During my Diploma, I tutored my friends in my strongest subjects (Biology and Maths), the positive feedback encouraged me to continue. Since then I have been teaching intensive pre-exam classes, preparing students with a thorough revision of each topic. I believe that to learn you need to understand, which is why I always teach using useful analogies and interesting real-life examples. While extensively knowing the syllabus, I can also offer useful tips and tricks to help you ace your exams.

I'm studying psychology at the University of Amsterdam. I loved biology and science in High School in Hungary, and I would love to teach it to students as well. I know how difficult it can be to sit down and study, so that's why I'm here to help. I will encourage students to do their best and get them to fall in love with the subject.

I prefer to do 1-on-1 sessions with the student to develop a better understanding of how the student thinks and tackle any problems together. Whether it is a student that is failing and has to reinforce his/her motivation and fundamental understanding of the topic to develop skills to pass an exam, or a student who is doing well and seeks ways to push for better grades throughout any subject at school, I am happy to help with any problems there may be academically.

You have reached the end of your education and you are going to conclude it with a research report or thesis. You've worked on your topic for a while, collected most of the data, and you already know quite a bit about it, but now everything has to come into a well-written and logically structured story. That can be tricky, but I can help you with that! During my career at the universities of Utrecht and Groningen I supervised many students in subjects such as ecology and environmental sciences. I also really enjoy interdisciplinary thinking and working, for example by connecting scientific topics with business administration and/or policy questions, resulting in an advisory report for a company or government. After my retirement from university in 2019, I also supervised students from other disciplines such as history and geography. Perhaps most importantly, I really enjoy using my broad experience to help motivated students.

Graduated from a European International School with scientific baccalaureate, and in my second year of medical studies, I would be happy to support, tutor and provide help to primary or secondary level students with their science, English and/or mathematics classes. My help could be especially beneficial for international students, but I can support any other students, with whom we could use English as vehicular language. I can be of even greater assistance to students trying to acquire their International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma as I have passed it as well. I have graduated with top results in my section. My scientific baccalaureate consisted of extensive studies in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Math. Currently, as a student of medicine at Maastricht University, I continue deepening my knowledge in the area of the human biology and chemistry. Despite my limited experience with tutoring children and adolescents, I am very good at explaining complex topics and ideas and have good communication skills. I have had very positive first impressions and have been told that explaining topics to students is something that I can do with great ease. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.

So far I've spent a large amount of time teaching my younger sister the basics of mathematics as well as science and languages. I want to tutor people because it gives me an opportunity to help them in a way that a teacher could not. For me, it is very enjoyable to work with students of all ages that would like to learn. When I was younger, my grandfather used to help me, and I would like to pass that feeling on. During my studies I've spent some time helping younger students in my programmer(IB) with their studies. All though I was born and raised in Bulgaria, I have spent 7 years living in Austria in an English speaking environment, due to that, I speak fluent British English, as well as mother-tongue level Bulgarian and a very good German. I am able to help individuals up until 9-10th grade.

I offer personalised tutoring to people of all ages, mainly grade schoolers, high schoolers as well as university students. As my undergraduate studies I did Electrical Engineering and Electronics at the University of Edinburgh, which I finished with 1st class honours. Therefore, I am comfortable with teaching Maths, Physics as well as other Natural Sciences necessary for A-levels or IB. Everyone can learn, but we all have different ways of learning and that's what makes us unique. Feeling lost is a natural state, which is necessary for growth. I can as well help with the application process for the UK universities. I live in Amsterdam and can teach at student's home.

Hi everyone! I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London. I provide highly specialised tutoring for the IB MYP programme across all levels, and have a lot of experience helping students master the subjects within this programme. What I offer where many other tutors lack is a teaching style that prioritises maximal engagement and development of curiosity, combined with a depth of knowledge and a personal passion in mathematical and physical fields which I aim to help transmit to my students! I aim to help you to construct the most solid foundations upon which we can build your knowledge and curiosity. Thus as my student, in addition to fulfilling your potential at examinations and assessments, you will develop a sound understanding of challenging concepts and useful mental tools for life in general. About me: I have substantial experience teaching many concepts relating to the mathematical and physical sciences. This ranges from foundational concepts such as calculus, algebra, probability, statistics, geometry etc. to more advanced topics including the dynamics of many-body linear and rotational systems, evolution of quantum mechanical systems and abstract & applied group theory.
