I'm Gianni – a professional musician with over 10 years of experience and a master's degree in music education. I play guitar, double bass, and electric bass in a variety of stylistic projects. When teaching, it's important to me that you enjoy the learning process and start making music from day one. You don't need to know lots of notes or chords to have a great time with music! Depending on your interests, we can focus on technique, repertoire, reading music, music theory, improvisation, coordination (like singing and playing at the same time), and much more. Lessons can take place in German, Swiss German, English, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish.

I give lessons or music theory support in Basel and its surroundings. All ages and all levels. I like to share my passion in a relaxed atmosphere! I am an oboe, a professional musician and graduated from the Lausanne University of Music in pedagogy.

I am a piano teacher with over 30 years of experience, passionate about nurturing musical talent at every age and level. I have taught at esteemed institutions such as the Franz Schubert Conservatory in Vienna, and many of my students have gone on to succeed in auditions at top conservatories like the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover. My students have also won national and international competitions including Premio Crescendo (Florence), Prima la Musica (Austria), the Grand Prize Virtuoso (Los Angeles, New York, Vienna, Berlin, Salzburg), and the Brno Mozart International Piano Competition. Over the years, I have developed a unique and effective method for teaching young children, starting from age 3, all the way to university-level students and adult beginners. My approach focuses on developing a strong ear and making learning both joyful and fulfilling. Outside of teaching, I love spending time outdoors with my dogs, reading, playing tennis, and enjoying time with my daughter.

For anyone who wants to learn the violin or perfect their skills. Extensive experience with private students and music schools in Austria. A passionate learner myself, I have recently graduated with a Masters from the Hochschule für Musik Basel in Specialized Performance (Improvisation). These diverse experiences are necessarily integrated into what I teach and how. In my theory classes we’ll look at the fundamentals of rhythm, pitch, solfège, intervals, key signatures, cadences, and other important groundwork whose rigorous study we can then apply to real-life examples of music, helping you acquire a sharper analytical ear. In my career, my life is frozen, my Lust, my Motivation, and my Ratschläge, my life is erroneous. Even though the settings are individual and personal, the programs are different. Since I have been teaching violin and music, not a day has gone by without me saying to myself that motivation and pleasure are the greatest drivers of learning. This is why I always favor a relaxed and work-friendly atmosphere during my classes. Technique is of course of great importance to me. I teach musical initiation, music theory and the viola which I practiced in chamber music and of course the violin, my main instrument with which I perform in several orchestras and ensembles.

I a professional musician and have taught piano to children for three years at the Pico Music School in Lucerne. We will learn at the piano how to play and how to read and hear music. It is important to me that the children learn good practice skills and that they have fun in the lessons and at home.

My concert experience includes performances across Europe, in countries such as Portugal, Germany, Liechtenstein, Hungary, and Slovenia. I have also participated in masterclasses led by renowned figures in the classical music world, such as Eldar Nebolsin, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Milana Chernyavska or Ricardo Castro.
