Hello! I'm Simone, I am an Italian professional viola player who graduated in Italy and at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
In my lessons you will learn to enjoy the warm and rich tone that the viola can give you. Together we'll work on finding a comfortable, natural posture that lets the music flow freely. You'll develop an ear for harmony and learn to feel how your body and the instrument work as one, so that you will be able to play for hours without fatigue.

Lessons are for:
• Teenagers starting from scratch or looking to improve their technique
• Adults returning to music who want to rediscover the joy of playing
• Anyone wanting to join youth or amateur orchestras

I am an experienced violin/viola teacher who recently arrived in the Netherlands from Australia. I have a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the University of Melbourne and am currently completing a Bachelor of Early Music at the Royal Conservatoire at the Hague.
I have been teaching for more than 10 years, and since 2013 was running a strings program at a Steiner school in Tropical North Australia, as well as running a busy teaching studio and conducting community orchestras in the area.
I love teaching and consider it one of my main passions. I enjoy working with students of all ages and have taught several adult students of varying abilities, as well as children as young as four. I aim for my lessons to be enjoyable, inspirational, systematic, and holistic (covering many different musical aspects and skills in one lesson). I have been a performing Violist since 2000 and a dedicated teacher since 2010. I am currently studying Early Music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and have recently graduated from The Juilliard School, where I was the proud recipient of a Kovner Fellowship. I have taught students from 12-63 in Texas, New York, Brazil, and Hungary. I believe that learning an instrument is a vehicle by which one may learn anything and that music is fundamental to our humanity. I believe one is never too young, or old, to learn, and I am committed to sharing music.

My name is Sakura. I am a baroque violinist, graduated with a master of early music department at Koninglijk Conservatorium in Den Haag. I play the modern violin, viola, medieval fiddle and keyboard instruments as well.

Started playing the piano at 3 years old and the violin at 7 years old, then went to the music high school and Tokyo university of the Art in Japan.
