Have you always wanted to learn how to dance but didn't know where to start? Do you have some dancing experience but need to work on your confidence or boost your skills / technique?
Come and dance with me! My classes are for adults of any age and ability who want to learn to dance, or for anyone who already has dance experience but wants to explore themselves more as a soloist. I aim to develop your confidence with movement and body awareness throughout our sessions, and also work on your freestyling, skills picking up choreography, or even help you choreograph something of your own if you wish!
My personal approach to dance is bringing fun to it! If you don't enjoy yourself, you won't continue to learn. Having fun is key to progressing, and we will get to improve technique and confidence along the way! My sessions are an hour long but 15 mins of those minutes are dedicated to warming up, cooling down and also discussing your day / week and your mental state before we start. This is so we can use the thoughts and feelings of the day as tools for our session to help release tension and boost your energy!
The meaty part of the session will focus on some techniques, movement and music exploration and short choreographed combinations.

Please bring a bottle of water with you and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
After each lesson with me I will send you notes with feedback, videos from the lessons for reference and also give you music recommendations and tasks / exercises to work on at home between each lesson! My rates are inclusive of the time planning and tailoring each sessions.

Bubbly, versatile professional mover with a Bachelor's degree in Dance Studies and over 15 years of dance and teaching experience. Specialise in hiphop, commercial, contemporary and social dancing. I'm all about a relaxed and fun teaching approach!

Experiencia / Calificaciones
I was born and raised in London but now am living in Manchester. I started dancing ballet when I was 3 years old. As a teenager I fell in love with hip hop and gained a scholarship with Pineapple Performing Arts and committed until finishing my Dance Degree in contemporary dance studies at Roehampton University in 2017. I have performed on various stages for events, showcases, conventions, festivals, and also for the last 5 years have dived into Film and TV work.
For 8 years I tutored children in maths, English and dance, and worked in a gym alongside my training and dance work.
At the start if 2024 I decided to quit my multiple jobs and freelance with dancing. I teach weekly adult urban social dance classes and now want to delve into working with adults 1 on 1. I am enthusiastic, organised, friendly and so keen to help as many people as I can with building their dance skills and nurturing their mental health at the same time!
