Art history for beginners and/or advanced students.

Do you love Italian people, history, and food and you would like to speak the language? I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with. Lessons will be tailored according to the student's needs, level, and mother language and focused on the conversation. I am also available to proofread your writings.

I present introductory courses in art history and archaeology. I offer 2 different approaches, which you can choose according to your preferences: - A thematic approach, according to themes (such as color, pain, etc.), which allows us to overview a broader chronology and delve more deeply into the chosen theme. - A chronological and geographical approach, more focused on the modalities of a society and all its aspects. My goal is not exhaustiveness, but rather to offer diverse and varied approaches to art history and archeology to show the importance of these disciplines in our society. Course on the global history of the Asian continent and/or specialization concerning one or more of the three countries indicated. The courses cover the entire period from the 19th century to the present day, all aspects are explored: culture, geopolitics, politics, society, economy etc...
