he ACT, or American College Testing, is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. It assesses high school students' readiness for college-level coursework in English, mathematics, reading, and science. An optional writing test is also available.
What the ACT Measures:
English: Grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and rhetorical skills.
Mathematics: Mathematical skills typically acquired up to the beginning of grade 12.
Reading: Reading comprehension, reasoning, and integration of information from multiple sources.
Science: (Optional) Interpretation, analysis, evaluation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills in science.

My name is George and I am living in Bogor, Indonesia. I am a fully qualified Canadian English/Mathematics teacher who has earned a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics as well as a teaching and TEFL certificate. I have been passionately teaching for over 35 years and these last 6 years I have been teaching international standardized tests, mainly for Kaplan, such as SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT as well as TOEFL and IELTS.
