Seit 2012 bin ich als Lehrer für Klavier/Keyboards an privaten und öffentlichen Musikschulen tätig und konnte mit unzähligen Schülerinnen und Schülern von jung bis alt zusammenarbeiten. Dabei lernte ich auf jeden Schüler unterschiedlich einzugehen, denn niemand lernt gleich. Meine jüngsten Schüler profitieren dadurch auch in der Schule und sind meist im Musikunterricht den Klassenkameraden voraus. Um so mehr freue ich mich, dass sich meine Begeisterung für die Musik auf meine Schüler überträgt.
Da ich mir selbst keinen Genre-Stempel aufdrücken will und mit einer Menge an verschiedenen Musikern im Laufe der Jahre zusammen gearbeitet habe, eignete ich mir über die Jahre ein breites Spektrum an Stilistiken an.

2011 belegte Timo den ersten Platz in der Kategorie ''Bester Keyboarder" und "Bester Instrumentalsolist" beim deutschen Rock und Pop Preis – ein außerordentlicher Erfolg, der ihn darin ermutigte, sich ganz der Musik zu widmen und seiner Berufung zu folgen.

2013 startete er sein Studium an der Popakademie Baden-Württemberg - zuerst mit dem Schwerpunkt Klavier und später Producing. Während des Studiums arbeitete Timo mit erfahrenen Musikern aus aller Welt zusammen und wurde von namenhaften Dozenten wie u.a. Prof. Mathias Leber, Prof. Alexander Päffgen und Prof. Florian Sitzmann ausgebildet.

2015/16 arbeitete er im Zuge einiger Praktika bei Naidoo/Herberger Produktion in diversen Tonstudios. Eine intellektuell als auch praktisch wertvolle Erfahrung in der Timo sich intensiv mit der Studioarbeit auseinandersetzen und sein Know-How für Musikproduktionen erweitern konnte.

2019/20 schrieb Timo zusammen mit Yusuke Hatano die Filmmusik für "Line Walker 2: Invisible Spy" (Shaw Brothers, Babieka) und "Declared Legally Dead" (Emperor Motion Pictures). Im Bereich Games komponierte er die Musik für das RPG „The Revenant Prince“ (Nomina Games). Daneben arbeitet Timo mit Bands, Künstlern und ist im Bereich TV und Werbung vielseitig involviert.

The most important matter that I could write here about is my passion to teach. I've been teaching already for more than 10 years, from kids to adults. I'm a classical pianist, but I am opened to other musical styles. What I want you to get from your lessons with me, is not only a huge knowledge of theorical stuff or a great technique, I would like to show you my musical world, the imagination and inner exploration that is required to understand and to love music in a whole new level. Once you have found them, it will be very hard to quit playing!

El Taller Tecla y Música es un espacio pensado para aprender y desarrollar tu sentido musical y expresivo a través del piano y/o teclados.
El objetivo principal es aprender a hacer música y disfrutar del proceso de aprendizaje y sus resultados.
El material con el que trabajamos (canciones, piezas instrumentales y ejercicios) está orientado principalmente a tu gusto musical, y la elección es en función de ir ampliando gradualmente tus posibilidades técnicas y expresivas, y a la vez explorar distintos estilos musicales.
De este modo se van incorporando distintas herramientas para lograr en un corto plazo, dominio y fluidez sobre el lenguaje musical y el instrumento.
Dado que cada alumno tiene distintos intereses e inquietudes, ya sea tocar por afición o desarrollar una carrera profesional, componer, improvisar, etc., la orientación de las clases se construye en función de las posibilidades y necesidades particulares de cada caso.
La propuesta de trabajo implica una frecuencia de clases semanal para lograr una óptima dinámica de trabajo y que los resultados sean visibles en un corto plazo.
También existe la posibilidad de tomar clases aisladas con la finalidad de resolver un objetivo puntual como por ejemplo desarrollar y perfeccionar algún aspecto particular de la práctica y/o teoría musical así como el de preparar exámenes de instrumento o materias teóricas para instituciones de estudios musicales.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age.

I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Hola! Llevo más de 10 años dando clases de forma ininterrumpida, y me gustaría explicarte qué puedes esperar de una clase conmigo.

Enfoque personalizado: Lo más importante es saber qué quieres lograr. Adaptaré las clases a tus necesidades: no es lo mismo tocar por placer en casa que preparar pruebas de acceso (aunque siempre con el mismo rigor). Tus objetivos influirán en la metodología, la organización del estudio, el repertorio...

Ambiente relajado (pero riguroso): Una vez definidas tus metas, las clases serán dinámicas y sin presiones. ¡Ojo! "Relajado" no significa poco exigente, solo que evitaremos métodos militares —sobre todo por mi carácter y sentido del humor—.

Música, no solo notas: Mis métodos son muy dinámicos, con especial énfasis en el oído y la musicalidad. Nada de "leer, tocar y pasar página". Evito enfoques obsesionados con la lectura de partituras sin memorizar, escuchar o entender lo que se toca. Quiero que seas dueño de tu interpretación y tomes decisiones artísticas. ¡Advertencia! Puede que hasta te haga cantar.

Sin barreras estilísticas: Gracias a mi formación en Jazz y Música Moderna, doy igual importancia a todos los géneros. Adaptándonos a tus gustos, pasaremos del barroco al blues, de Haydn al bebop... o incluso a Michael Jackson. ¿Por qué no?

Do you want to learn how to compose your own music? Do you want to be able to express yourself and put your own thoughts in musical form? In this Classical Composition or Songwriting class, that's exactly what we'll be focusing on! You can choose to focus on composing classical music, using scores, or creating your own songs, either for you or other people to sing. You will learn music theory, learn how to use music software like reaper, ableton, sibelius or musescore, and you'll work alongside me to discover your own voice in music making.

My name is Bernardo and I am a composer from Portugal who specializes and studies contemporary classical music. I also create my own songs in a singer-songwriter style and I have made music for film and videogame.
I am currently doing a master's in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp where I study with Wim Henderickx. I have studied in the past with composers such as Luís Tinoco, Carlos Caires and Eurico Carrapatoso.
My works have been played in several European concert halls and I have in my portfolio works for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, orchestra and choir.

I am also currently doing a bachelor's in singing at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, so if you are a singer-songwriter, we can also work on your own voice.

My musical journey began at the age of 10, when I started playing the organ in church. Soon after, I enrolled in the local Conservatory, where I studied Organ and Classical Composition for eight years, followed by Jazz Piano studies. I graduated in 2021 and have been performing since 2016 in various folk, pop, and jazz ensembles across Italy.
