I have been teaching German for many years. I know it is a difficult language so I want to help others with their learning process. I like to focus on the speaking exercises in my class so that there is no hesitation in speaking it outside of the class. However I also like to take the input of my students if they need to focus on other areas.

I tutor students in pre-vocational secondary education, senior general secondary education and pre-university education (VWO). I have a HEAO Economic Linguistics diploma and have extensive experience in giving private lessons and teaching via Skype.

Hi I am Fariël!

I've been learning English and French since I was 10, and German since I was 15. I studied in Berlin, Paris, and Bristol, and later completed my bachelor’s degree Switzerland in French (C2 – native level). I also hold two EF diplomas in English (C2 – native) and German (B2). After that, I did my master’s degree in London.

In our first lesson, we’ll chat about what you want to focus on — maybe pronunciation, grammar, or vocabulary. I’ll get a sense of your level through a relaxed conversation, and then we’ll find the best way for you to make progress and enjoy learning the language.
