From 26.3 $ /h
As coding and computation supplant traditional research and work methods, our way of work is shifting rapidly into the digital age. Computer programming is of greater importance in today's workplace since it has the power of expediting everything from automated web scraping, data processing and behaviour analysis to data visualisation and presentation of results. Mastering this technique will undoubtedly enhance your competitiveness in the job market.
While it may sound daunting to learn something completely new, Python is among the easiest coding language to get your hand on as it follows logic and resembles our everyday English language. The syntax of Python is not difficult to understand at all. This class offers an introduction to the syntax of the Python programming language, as well as some basic tools of python in preparation for more advanced applications. After this class, you will get a sound foundation of Python and be ready for more advanced applications.

About Me
Despite being an undergraduate student right now, I have had roughly two years of online tutoring, focusing on academic subjects such as mathematics and physics for students before college, and also teaching some skills, mainly introductory coding. I am a world traveler but not as most people would think, in that I have explored deeply FOUR universities so far, as a student or an undergraduate research assistant, including the University of Oxford, where I am right now as a visiting student!
I found teaching joyful, especially one-to-one tutoring, because it is the process where I build trust with my students. I really value the gratitude that students express to me and that they choose me as their tutor among so many other tutors. I have got many feedbacks of my students that they have received improved grade or that they have gained some valuable coding skills that prepared them better for future studies.

Education
Emory University physics BS and economics minor, Junior Year, GPA 3.959/4.000, Visiting Student at University of Oxford reading physics. Propose to apply for engineering for graduate school
Experience / Qualifications
I have Datacamp certificates in Python courses, providing me with a solid background in coding in python. As for the application of the programming language, I have learned computational modeling with Python to simulate some physical and biological systems. In one of my research project which aims to make a biosensor, I made extensive use of the professional 3D graphic software AutoCAD to design the sensor and later 3D-printed the product.
