In my classes, I teach drawing, sketching, watercolor, acrylic painting, and fundamental art techniques step by step. My main focus is building a strong artistic foundation — understanding form, perspective, light and shadow, composition, and color theory in a clear and simple way.

I believe that good art starts with strong basics. That’s why I give my students solid technical knowledge while keeping lessons enjoyable, relaxed, and motivating. I break complex concepts into easy, practical exercises so you can see real progress from the first lessons.

I have 7 years of academic art school training and a 5-year Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, which gives me a strong background in perspective, structure, and visual thinking.

I work with both kids and adults and create personalized lesson plans for each student depending on their goals — whether it’s learning fundamentals, improving technique, preparing a portfolio, or simply enjoying art as a hobby.

My goal is not only to teach technique, but to build confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for drawing.

Hi! My name is Aliya. I’m an active, easy-going, and positive person, and art has always been my life — not just a hobby. I’ve been drawing and painting since I was three years old.

In my teaching, I focus on professional fundamentals. I help students understand proportion, dimension, structure, and visual thinking so they can create independently — not just copy references. My goal is to give you the tools to truly understand what you are drawing.

I teach step by step in a clear and enjoyable way. I believe learning art should feel inspiring, not stressful. At the same time, I maintain strong structure and discipline in the basics.

I build personal connections with my students and adjust the program individually for each person. Many of my students stay with me for over a year because they see real progress and feel supported throughout their journey.

My mission is to help you grow technically, creatively, and confidently.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 12 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the halos. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters?

If you have those concerns, I would love to help you.

I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels.

I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story.

I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French.

I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.

I have a bachelor's degree in digital arts, obtained at Saint Luc in 2016. During my studies I made live models, had courses in color, 2D animation, perspectives and character design.
I mainly draw with a graphics tablet.
During the lessons we will see how:
- look at an image, understand how the artist composes it, then learn to reproduce a style.
- use layers
- use filters to give more life to images
- learn different coloring methods, from grayscale coloring to colorization with filters

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.

Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!

Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.

The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.

(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.)
