I am a 24 year old student, coming from Spain, from a small town near Barcelona. I am a relaxed, open-minded teacher who loves to work with people and to discover new realities. I also like to read, watch movies and to travel.

I would like to help everyone who needs a push in their Spanish, working with values in mind like cooperativism, open-mindness, respect and social equity.

Opleiding

Studies in Media in University of Amsterdam, in the Media and Culture track. Also studied Educational Science in the National Online University of Spain. I am in possession of the titles of monitor and director of leisure activities for children or youngs.

Leservaring

Apart from theoretical knowledge obtained in my studies about teaching and education, I have much practical experience in working with groups of kids, designing and conducting activities for them to create a positive impact.

I also have experience in teaching languages, having worked as an English teacher for small teenagers groups. Other teaching activities I have performed include private tutoring in academic support, acting teacher and sports couch.

Hola everyone!
I have always been passionate about arts, culture, people, and traveling, and through my communicative experiences interacting with different people in different languages around the world, I have understood the essential needs when it comes to language acquisition. That is why my method is a compilation of the traditional usage of books, texts, audios, and short films, combined with PowerPoint presentations full of images, interactive games, and recreation of real-life situations in which the students will naturally learn complex grammar topics while having fun. I also create a particular relationship with each student to detect the type of learner the student is and tailor the class according to his/her personality, needs, and expectations. The class can be taught in English or Dutch but I am always aiming to expose the student to Spanish as much as possible so he/she can experience faster progress.

I am a native Spanish speaker with a bachelor's degree in Social Communication from Pontificia Javeriana University in Bogota-Colombia, ELE Spanish Teacher certified by Lola Martínez Cabrera Senior Professor from “Molinos de Viento” in Amsterdam and hold a postgraduate degree as ELE Spanish teacher from Barcelona University and International House. I have been giving private Spanish classes to adults for the last five years. For the last 10 years, I have been dealing with Spanish, English, Dutch, and German on a daily basis.

I was born in Italy, but I have spent the last two years of my life traveling the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East and Central Asia, traveling and working remotely.
