The study of music is a life changing experience! As an aspiring teaching artist, my teaching philosophy centers around the idea of allowing yourself to dive into the learning process. Some students will pursue professional careers, others will pass this knowledge to the next generation, and some will realize that music simply changes the way they view the world around them for the better. The study of music comes hand in hand with the understanding of certain personable skills as well. Responsibility, confidence, and discipline are necessary components of the successful students oeuvre. Without a doubt, those traits may be applied to an array of fields outside of music. Students will begin to realize that to do something well, it must be done with care, patience, and with passion for the music!

From Classical to Contemporary: From Bach to the Beatles, my adaptable teaching method combines tradition with creativity, allowing each student to explore a wide repertoire at their own pace. I specialize in French, German, Spanish, and classical music, always tailoring my lessons to your personal goals.

Over 10 Years of Teaching Experience. I've been teaching privately since I was 19, working with students of all ages and skill levels with the same dedication and enthusiasm. My experience includes teaching music theory, chamber music, classical piano, and music theory in the United States and France!

Preparation for Performances and Competitions I prepare semi-professional students for recitals, auditions, and national and international competitions. Amateurs are equally welcome: my goal is to inspire a lifelong love of music in all my students.

A Comprehensive Musical Education My teaching fosters strong musical ear, phrasing, rhythm, and analytical skills. Students develop a secure repertoire and acquire an independent practice method. Every six months, I organize student recitals to encourage ensemble playing and four-hand piano sessions in a warm and collaborative environment.

It's Álvaro from Spain. I'm a pianist and composer focused on jazz and improvisation. I studied at Manhattan School of Music and currently play and record with my bands around New York and Europe, having 4 albums released as a leader.
After years of teaching experience, I direct my classes to ear training, harmony, and developing your intuition as an improviser. We can also work on sightreading or more technical issues. I teach at my own rehearsal space in Manhattan or I can also go visit you.

During this class we will put a special focus on improvisation and expand the thematic of Level 1 & 2. During this course Davide will talk about all the most common vocabulary of bebop improvisation skills: Arpeggios, Scales, Diatonic Approaches, Chromatic Approaches, Double Chromatic, Triple, and the most efficient ways of studying them as a vocalist. The goal of these workshops is to improve our ears, timing, confidence and leadership as singers.

With a special focus on vocal improvisation and the interaction between band and singer. This course will be implemented giving you access to 3 booklets about Scat Improvisation vocabulary and technique Davide wrote at Berklee School Of Music for the Danilo Perez Foundation Workshops he tough.

My goal is to help each of my students achieve their full potential in journey of lifelong self-transformatiom and create a joyful and creative teaching environments while establishing deep and genuine connections with all my students. I have more than ten years teaching experience and I have taught in various cities such as New York City and Amsterdam. I can teach in English, Spanish or Italian.

A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, I have also earned multiple degrees in different conservatories in Europe.

I teach at your home, online, and at Klavierhaus, 11th Ave, New York, NY 10019 where you will have access to some of the best pianos in the city (Fazioli, Steinway....)

I teach all levels. We can learn the songs you like or I can give recommendations depending on your level.

At the end of each semester I organize a recital with all my students at Klavierhaus.
