I scored 169 on the LSAT and can help with test prep.

Even though I am a native Spanish speaker, I have experience teaching other languages in different parts of the world, mostly to highschoolers seeking help with their assignments.

The course will be adapted to the student's goals, either help with academic classes or to develop speaking, listening, and reading skills. Improve your English with one on one theory classes and practice. I have a TOEFL certificate and an American education. I speak French and Arabic.

According to the level of expertise of the student (I accept students from A1 to B2 levels), I will guide the classes with the help of a workbook, focusing on the preparation for the Cambridge English Exam. Therefore, my focus extends to all areas of learning from Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening. The methodology will depend on the preferences of each person. English is my second language and I have advanced training from a highly prestigious English School since I was 5 years old. I have a C2 proficient level certificate (CPE). I also have experience in giving private English lessons.

My classes are completely tailored to your needs. I identify the gaps you have with English in the first lesson and after that work with you to boost your speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities.

I offer a teaching experience that will increase your confidence with and understanding of the English language, and focus on pronunciation, grammar, understanding difficult accents, texts and newspaper articles, writing emails, and many other areas.

Classes are either 60 minutes or 2 hours, but if preferred, we can arrange custom-length classes.

Whether it be formal and linguistic errors or stylistic, structural, and argumentative issues, I gathered practical tools students can systematically employ to improve their academic writing—skills which coincide with the demands of a tutoring job. I’ve designed this course as the ultimate guide to academic writing, but that’s not it. Given my experience in debate clubs in Leuven, Brussels, and Munich, as well as in hosting highly successful discussion groups with students of all stripes, I can also teach you how to deliver fantastic presentations and get your point across in the most articulate manner. As a polyglot, I can give you examples in Arabic, Farsi, Urdu/Hindi, Punjabi, and German, so if you speak any of these languages, I’ll make sure you have an easier time learning English with me. With this course, I can teach a beginner how to speak English fluently but also creatively, I can teach an intermediate speaker how to take their language skills to the next level, and I can help an advanced English speaker sharpen their presentation skills and academic writing.

This class is taught using the Oxford method and handbooks.

I am an American living in Leuven, Belgium. I used to be a cheerleader back home in Louisiana, and have always worked with children. I have a master's and bachelor's degree in history and am currently completing a second master's in social and cultural anthropology. Teaching is one of my passions and I would love to be able to share that while living here.
