Vuoi parlare l'italiano? Italiano con Rob per tuttiCiao, my name is Roberto :)
I graduated in Political and Economic Science at the University of Milan. After working for a year for an American company in Milan, I moved to Australia, where I have worked, studied and traveled for two years.
It has been an incredible experience! I had the opportunity of visiting beautiful places, discovering so many different cultures and developed myself from a personal and professional point of view.
Since two years, I have been living in Haarlem - a wonderful city close to Amsterdam - and to the coast 🌊 - in the Netherlands.
I love teaching and helping people to find out more about Italian culture, history, and arts.
I would love to use all the modern techniques of teaching that I learned and practiced them with you.
Teaching is an extraordinary passion!
Parliamo italiano!
Hannah
Native, certified English teacher offering in-person and virtual classesHello, my name is Hannah and I'm a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)-certified teacher. No matter how hard I try, I keep coming back to languages. Although I have a master's in public health and have a variety of professional experiences, languages have always been my true passion.
From my bachelor's degree in French to the time I spent teaching English in Argentina, to my TEFL certification in Chicago, to the time I spent teaching English in Germany, to my current home in the Netherlands, I have always been motivated by learning foreign languages and speaking them with native speakers. Although I have had many positions as a teacher, mentor, and tutor, I decided to return to teaching about two years ago after spending time in a corporate job and have been teaching full-time since. I am very happy with my decision and hope to continue passing on my love of languages to my students for years to come.
As a student of foreign language learning myself, I know which strategies work and which don't. I believe that all students should feel comfortable in the classroom and shouldn't be afraid to make mistakes, because that's the best way to learn! I encourage exploration while also having a solid knowledge of the language background of my students to aid in times of confusion. I have seen first-hand the value of having a native teacher for language courses, and through taking courses on my own, know what works and doesn't work for students.

English lessons for beginners and those who want to improve, young or oldEnglish is a world language. You can go almost everywhere with English. That is why it is important that you have some command of English and that you can make yourself understood. And that is what I am for, helping people, young or old, to learn English or improve their English.
Method:
First I make an assessment of aptitude for, and existing knowledge of, English for each student.
During teaching I find the following elements important:
1. Creating a friendly and pleasant atmosphere in which the student starts to feel enthusiastic.
2. Discipline. This means that the course leader and the student (s) do what is expected of them.
3. From simple to complicated, tailored to the aptitude and experience of the student (s).
4. Practicing a lot and repeating previous lessons.
5. Structured work. This mainly means working on the grammar of English because grammar gives structure to a language.
6. Regular keys.

English (grammar/pronunciation/spelling) help for adults and childrenHi,
My name is Ugnė and I am a 20-year-old student.
I speak fluent English, Lithuanian, and German. I was born in Lithuania, completed primary school in Austria, did the Middle Years Program in Lithuania at an international school, received my International Baccalaureate Diploma in Denmark, and currently, I am doing my bachelors in Psychology here in the Netherlands at Leiden University. I am able to teach using only English, German, or Lithuanian. I am willing to assist both adults and children (such as doing homework).

English Language Tutor: Conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing skills, and more! Are you interested in improving your English language skills this summer?
Hi there! I'm a home-grown English native, currently here to teach and further my studies at Leiden University. I'm looking for enthusiastic students seeking to improve their English skills over the summer.
If you are looking for a relaxed learning environment to sharpen your English skills then look no further! With a wide range of interests and experiences I offer to work with my students to build an English course around their interests and learning goals. Whether that involves a focused course of lessons in vocabulary, improving your pronunciation, or preparing for a specific test; or a more relaxed setting, in which we meet at either your residence or mine, to discuss a list of topics you find interesting and engaging. There really is no better way to get comfortable with speaking a second language than to spend time in the company of a native speaker, so why not join me for some British tea and engaging conversation.
