I went to University of Science and Technology of China when I was 13 years old. I got best Science training in China. I studied Organic Chemistry in University of Pennsylvania from 1993-1994 when I was 21 years old. I am now a drug discovery scientist who is a inventor of a cancer drug and initiated a COVID-19 drug discovery project which resulted in Azvudine, who saved hundreds of thousands to millions ‘ Chinese people’s life. I want to help those ambitious student who want to develop a career in Science, about my joy and lessons.

Hello,

I am a PhD candidate in Biostatistics PhD at Cambridge. My first integrated Master's degree in Mathematics was carried out at Imperial College London, having received my diploma in 2021. I offer support and in-depth courses in maths for high school and college students, from the French and English system (up to Bac or up to GCSE).

Having passed a Bac S Spé maths mention very well in 2017, and having followed students of the new Bac for the past two years, I am very comfortable with the recent programs of high school subjects. In addition, I have had experience in private lessons for 3 years, having followed in particular students from CE2, CM1, and from 4th to final, but also experience in childcare and teenagers. The students have all made progress after my follow-up.

My teaching method consists of doing my best to make my students appreciate and understand the subject concerned, by going back to the teachers' lessons but with a calmer approach, based on standard exercises or annals for future graduates, to facilitate the assimilation of the course.

My classes can vary from regular homework help to exam preparation. We will focus on the exercises and the annals; the study of math is like that of an instrument, you have to practice a lot and regularly.

I offer private lessons in Chemistry to school students following French, British, IB or American systems. Being a PhD-holder in Chemistry from Imperial College London, I also offer support to chemistry students at university level.
Classes are delivered online via Zoom.

In my classes:
- I encourage asking relevant questions and I am willing to repeat explanations as much as necessary.
- I use technological tools and web interfaces to provide visual support to verbal explanations, which I consider a key part of effective teaching.
- I share my own, tailored, class notes and encourage the student to take notes him/herself as practice.
- We solve problems and I also assign homework and correct it in the following lesson.

After my classes, I share my notes with my students to help them retain the information and revise.
