Private lessons in maths - chemistry - physics in French, Dutch and English
Hello, My name is Maximilien, I am 22 years old and I am currently a Master 2 student at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) where I am pursuing a master's degree in Energy Engineering in English. After completing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at UCLouvain (physics-chemistry and mechanics option), I decided to continue my studies at the neighboring university. The subjects I teach are mathematics, chemistry and physics. Having also obtained my humanities diploma at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege, I can give lessons in French, Dutch or English. I like to actively involve my students in the course so that they understand the material well but above all that they find interest in it. I start from the principle that it is difficult to succeed in a subject without appreciating it a minimum and above all finding what it really serves us for! In general, I like to start by reviewing the latest questions/exams to assess the level and needs of the student. Then we go through the theory necessary to carry out the exercises and finally finish with exercise sessions together. I am a dynamic and attentive person who quickly understands students (I was in their shoes not so long ago), which allows me to create a relationship of trust, so that the student feels comfortable and asks ALL the questions he has, and does not hesitate to say when things are not going well.

Preparation for competitive entrance exams for major higher education establishments (physics, chemistry) ENSA, ENSAM, ENA, ENAM, IAV, medicine.
Physics and chemistry are the gateway to understanding all sciences, as a science student you will need to be able to sort through the many complex features to become a true student scientist with a critical and curious mind. That's why I designed this course to help students prepare for their exams and the next school year to fill in the gaps they have in math and science. I would like to inform you that I am a young researcher and I can also help you to acquire basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other essential software for your career.

    Chiwila
EXPRIENCED TUTOR FOR IB, IGCSE, GCSE, EDEXCEL, A-LEVELS, SCIENCE, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY AND PHYSICS
I am a specialized and certified AS and A-Levels tutor with extensive experience in teaching Sequences and Series, along with a strong emphasis on Calculus. My tutoring sessions are designed to provide in-depth knowledge and understanding of these crucial mathematical topics, helping students to master the material and excel in their exams. Focus Areas in Sequences and Series Binomial Expansion: I guide students through the principles of binomial expansion, helping them understand how to expand expressions of the form (a+b)n . We explore the Binomial Theorem in detail, ensuring that students can apply it effectively in problem-solving scenarios. By the end of our sessions, students will be able to expand binomials with confidence and accuracy. Arithmetic Progressions (AP): Understanding arithmetic progressions is fundamental in mathematics. I provide comprehensive instruction on identifying and working with sequences where each term is derived by adding a constant. Students learn how to find the nth term, the sum of the first n terms, and how to apply these concepts to solve real-world problems. Geometric Progressions (GP): I also specialize in geometric progressions, where each term is obtained by multiplying the previous term by a constant. My approach includes explaining key concepts such as the nth term and the sum of a geometric series, both finite and infinite. We tackle a variety of problems to ensure a deep understanding of the subject. Further Sequences and Series: Beyond the basics, I explore further topics in sequences and series, including convergence and divergence. This advanced understanding prepares students for higher-level mathematics and the challenges they may face in university studies. Mastering Calculus In addition to Sequences and Series, I offer expert guidance in Calculus, which is essential for success in AS and A-Levels. My focus here includes: Differentiation: I help students understand the principles of differentiation, teaching them how to find derivatives and apply them to various functions. We work on techniques, such as the product and quotient rules, and explore applications of derivatives in real-world contexts. Integration: Students learn the fundamentals of integration, including definite and indefinite integrals. I emphasize techniques such as substitution and integration by parts, ensuring that students can tackle a wide range of problems. Application of Calculus: We explore how calculus is used in practical scenarios, including motion problems and areas under curves, to provide a holistic understanding of the subject. Proven Approach to Learning My proven approach focuses on solving past examination questions, which is crucial for familiarizing students with the exam format and types of questions they will encounter. I emphasize understanding core principles rather than rote memorization. This methodology not only boosts confidence but also ensures that students can apply their knowledge effectively in exams. I believe that personalized feedback is vital for growth. Throughout our sessions, I provide constructive feedback and support, allowing students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. This continuous feedback loop fosters a growth mindset, empowering students to embrace challenges and develop resilience. Book Your Classes If you’re ready to elevate your understanding of Sequences, Series, and Calculus, I invite you to book your classes now. Experience the difference that comes with learning from an experienced tutor dedicated to your success. Let me guide you through an exciting and transformative learning journey that sets you on the path to achieving the highest grades possible. Together, we can unlock your full potential and ensure you are well-prepared for your AS and A-Level examinations. Teaching chemistry to school and university students in a simplified manner
Hello students! Do you find it difficult to learn science subjects, especially chemistry? This may be because chemistry contains some difficult or complex concepts or terms. If you are one of these, do not worry!! Hello and welcome to you, my students, in the right place to solve this problem through simplifying science lessons, especially chemistry. Through these lessons, we will learn together how to deal with difficult-to-understand matters and terms, because I have extensive experience extending to more than 15 years in conveying complex concepts in a clear, easy and simple way. My goal is to make science and chemistry in general and organic chemistry in particular wonderful and understandable for everyone. As a dedicated teacher, I create an interactive and stimulating learning environment for my students using the latest methods. I am ready to share my passion and guide each student towards excellence and success in the field of science and organic chemistry and in studies in general, as I work as a student advisor in an international institution. In addition, I have excellent communication and presentation skills and am patient and calm when teaching. In addition, I constantly follow up on my students' progress and regularly evaluate their understanding through continuous solution of objective questions, as I care more about understanding than memorization. On the other hand, I also maintain good follow-up with parents. My teaching approach is directed towards achieving the highest results, with a focus on helping students understand and master information. For university students or master's and doctoral students, I teach the course of natural product chemistry or phytochemistry. In this course, we will learn about the methods of extracting, separating and identifying the chemical form of active chemical compounds (biologically active secondary compounds) from natural sources, such as medicinal and aromatic plants. We will also discuss what is known as chromatography, spectroscopy devices, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and magnetic resonance analysis. In addition to knowing some important applications of these active materials in various fields, such as the pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, etc. We will also learn the practical methods that are carried out in the laboratory to conduct toxicity, antioxidant and diabetes analyses, etc. Finally, "for those interested in scientific research" there is a course dedicated to knowing what scientific research is, how to choose a research point, how to write scientific research and how to find the appropriate journal for publication and everything related to this topic. Experience: About 20 years of practical experience in the field of chemistry, medicinal and aromatic plants and pharmacy with parallel training and private lessons for chemistry curricula. With my qualifications and experiences, as I hold a master's degree and a doctorate in organic chemistry (chemistry of natural products), in addition to other postgraduate certificates and a doctoral scholarship in pharmaceutical sciences in Belgium from the Erasmus Mundus organization affiliated with the European Union.
