Through his numerous personal projects, he is particularly interested in youth and geo-environmental issues. The 21st century and the upheavals that accompany it particularly fascinate him. During 2017 and 2018, he carried out numerous projects in South-East Asia where he was able to work for seven months. The most important of these is entitled The Faces of the Mekong. Using the mythical Mekong River and its resources as a common thread, it provides a broad perspective on the geo-environmental issues related to development in the Indochinese peninsula (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand). He has also focused on Vietnamese and Laotian youth through the prism of street sports and urban culture. In 2019, he travelled to Hong Kong to cover, among other things, the uprising of the pro-democracy movement, which earned him a nomination for the Bayeux Prize for War Correspondents in the Young Reporter category. In parallel to his projects, Martin also responds to commissions from the press, NGOs and private companies. His work is regularly published in the French and international press (Le Monde, Libération, The Washington Post, Le Figaro, Vice, Reporterre, Mr Mondialisation, Fisheye Magazine). They have been awarded several times, including the François Chalais Young Reporter of the Year Award 2015 in the photo category. I’m from Madrid so mine neutral accent. I was very pleased with the inspired lesson Piotr gave me. He prepared his lesson, was accurate, full with new inspiration and very acquainted with various technics in Photoshop. He could communicate ( for me at my level) easily and was bringing me through several difficulties. Beside that he showed an deep insight in artistic approach of my artwork. Definitely worth it, Karin Hovius. Only I don't know if this is for the very beginner, you should be a little bit more advanced. But I am convinced that he can also manage beginners.

I had my first Italian lesson with Davide on 24/9/21. My first impression was very good because he does a very good assessment before he starts of your level and of your goals and based on that he adopts his learning approach perfectly yo your needs. I give Davide a 5 rating after one lesson and would be very surprised if my view of him will change. On top of his ability as a teacher, he is a very nice and modest person. He knows how to drive a conversation and seems have a lot of patience! Looking forward to the next lesson!

Excellent teaching skills. I had booked private lessons and Ton tailored every session exactly to my needs, and added even more. Beside photography, we discussed day-to-day technical topics such as back-up, storage, organising images, etc. You can see that Ton is used to being in a classroom - very structured and content focused. Excellent communication, always on time and also flexible to reschedule if needed. I will be back with more questions!
