I have been working as a music teacher for about 12 years (I am 29 years old), giving private lessons and in different music schools, the most important being the "Escola de Música Creu Alta" in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the largest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was responsible for the modern music department. I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, music production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare for the Bachelor of Music. I can totally adapt to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, as I have a lot of experience, I have the classes well planned, I know which songs and exercises work best depending on the aspect we want to work on (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone play, I can see in which aspects the person is strong, and in which aspects they have the most problems, this way you will not waste your time! In addition, I am a fun and very empathetic person, so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!! I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the lessons in any of these languages. I started acoustic guitar lessons from zero and I have learned so much with Sergio, he is an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable and patient, he also encourage you to keep practicing to achieve your goals while providing you with very useful material to do it. I really recommend Sergio as a music teacher, he plays a lot of instruments. Excelente profesor, yo empecé clases de guitarra acústica desde cero y he aprendido mucho con Sergio, sabe mucho y es muy paciente, además te anima a seguir practicando para que alcances tus metas y te provee muy buen material para lograrlo. Mary has been great in our interactions. At the moment, we are meeting twice a week for an hour each session. She started with a class in which we got to know each other and she listen to my goals. Then, she prepared exercises and lessons specially designed to help me reach those goals with practice and also prepared lessons to help me continue growing as a guitar player. Moreover, she goes often out of her way to get songs challenging to my level, but that are doable with enough practice. In all, I am enjoying quite a lot of our classes and I am always looking forward to them.

Reconnecting with Pau as a guitar teacher has been as good as I remembered. He's a a great instructor in all the aspects: he's patient and when something is difficult for me he always finds and alternative that is complementary and it really helps me. He knows a lot about music and different genres but if you want to play something he doesn't master, he'd look into it and make it easy for you to enjoy it. The way he plays is so good he's an inspiration and it makes you want to be better. Always my number 1 option guitar teacher!
