Trusted teacher: I offer online or face-to-face English lessons to non-native speakers. I work with the student to identify learning objectives and any areas of weakness and tailor the lesson accordingly. Areas covered during the lesson include, speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar accent reduction. I currently live in Den Haag, The Netherlands. In addition to private coaching, I also work for an online ESL company delivering English lessons to children across a range of age groups. In addition, I also work as an ESL proofreader and IELTS private tutor here in The Hague. I hold a BA (Hons) degree and have a CELTA qualification. Prior to a career in ESL English teaching, I worked in the UK national press for the Times and Financial Times newspapers. It was there I developed my proofreading and communications skills. In my spare time, I write articles for magazines and have had feature stories published in The Telegraph magazine, The Daily Mail and a number of health magazines. I have also written two language books. The first, 'I Already Speak Speak French!' is an illustrated book for children that covers the etymology of many English words to their French origin (attached is a sample of it for your interest!). It has been translated for the French market into, 'I Already Speak English!' The second book is called, 'Learn Business English FAST!' which draws on a teaching methodology used for effective, fast learning that I used whilst teaching English for the international company, GoFluent.

Trusted teacher: Hola amigos! My name is Kevin and I am a Business Administration professional with first-hand experience in tutoring foreign students from different nationalities. My linguistic spectrum consists of English, French and Spanish, which I master both orally and written. As a native Spanish speaker, I possess significant experience in the construction of argumentative texts and academic essays in Spanish. On the personal side, one of my greatest passions are philosophy and literature. As such, I am constantly reading and translating texts in order to increase and develop my language skills. Consequently, my work methodology is mostly focused on motivating the student to speak freely and to learn by acknowledging his/her mistakes. From the beginning, I will try to address the lessons 100% in Spanish, with the aim of familiarizing the ear to the pronunciation. In terms of written exercises, it is important to know what are the student’s learning priorities. When starting with the written part, it is important to know the student is dedicated to practicing and that he will also benefit from this in his future experiences. This is why the exercises will address current social problems that allow him to be fluent when he meets other Spanish speakers. In order for the student to learn as easily and efficiently as possible, homework exercises will be given after each lesson, drafted according to the parts that the students wishes to master best (speaking, reading, listening, writing). This way, the student will benefit from a fluid learning process and, with dedication, will be able to excel in Spanish in a short period of time.

Trusted teacher: Hi, I am Firoozeh. I majored in English Language & Literature and have been teaching English for more than 10 years. Having classes in group and private sessions, with different range of ages gave me a lot of experience to know the needs of a language learner better and consequently come up with suitable methods for different requests. Personally I believe learning a new language can be both fun and tricky at times and it would be more effective if it was handled methodologically by a language expert. it is said "the best method is no method" which means everyone has his own way and as a language teacher it would best answer when you saw your learner's requirements specifically. Some may find books better while the others have more fun with films and videos when learning. So I believe it is best to see your learners through the learning process for better adoption, also depending on the purpose of learning a language, the focus can shift from one skill to the others. as one's require might be to improve his vocabulary skill, strengthening listening can be essential for the other. Besides all the techniques applied, I highly follow a friendly atmosphere to leave my learners with some enjoyable learning moments and fill them with so much enthusiasm. Finally, I am a passionate language learner myself and I am currently making efforts to learn some other languages. This has broaden my point of view and aquatinted me with the difficulties involved in this path. so I would be absolutely glad to meet you from wherever in this world you are from.

Russian language for English speakers: grammar, reading, speaking, writing (The Hague)
Arzu
Arzu's lessons were very personalized. She takes the time to asses the level of which her student (me) is at and goes from there. She has been very open to answering any question I may come up with in between lessons and explains it in a way that is easy to understand by explaining the rules followed by example the student (me) can relate in order to get a better grasp of the language.
