Hi, I'm Michael. I'm from Switzerland but I spent most of last year in Brazil, where I was doing research for my PhD in history and where I was once again in the position of learning a foreign language – a valuable experience for any language teacher. Languages are my passion, whether learning or teaching them.

I have over 10 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language on the most diverse level, in language schools, high schools and even a prison. Thus I can offer tailor-made individual classes. The pillar of my practice-based method is that the students use the language on topics and situations that are really important for them, be it daily-life situations or specific topics they need vocabulary for. Of course, grammar explanation and practice is important, too. And there is also a place for fun, through learning games, German songs etc.
