Adapting to the individual needs and situation of the learner is key. In addition to regular German language teaching, I also propose (focused) exam preparation and proofreading of any kind of texts. In teaching I like to stress the correct pronunciation. Also, I make use of the internet showing a lot of original material from Germany and Switzerland - newspapers, music videos, films and other videos.

I studied Modern and Classical Chinese, German Language and Literature, History and Philosophy in Heidelberg, Beijing and Paris. In addition, I have worked as strategic management consultant and ran my own LegalTech start-up.

I am a primary school teacher who specializes in working on the individual potential for special needs kids from 7-18 years old. I am a citizen of USA Switzerland and Peru. I have previously assisted in lower , middle and upper school in order to have a broad overview in regards to subjects and individual growth potentials. Hello, I am here to offer tutoring or English lessons for all levels. I am American and grew up bilingual in Dortmund, Germany. So, my native languages are English and High German.
I have many years of experience as an English tutor, having tutored English throughout high school and college. . I also received a TEFL "Teaching English as a foreign language" certificate in a seminar.

Hi, I'm Michael. I'm from Switzerland but I spent most of last year in Brazil, where I was doing research for my PhD in history and where I was once again in the position of learning a foreign language – a valuable experience for any language teacher. Languages are my passion, whether learning or teaching them.

I have over 10 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language on the most diverse level, in language schools, high schools and even a prison. Thus I can offer tailor-made individual classes. The pillar of my practice-based method is that the students use the language on topics and situations that are really important for them, be it daily-life situations or specific topics they need vocabulary for.
