I did my master's degree in mechanical engineering in English and I am fluent in the English language. The teaching method depends on the student. If the student has received a teaching method from school, this teaching method will be used during the tutoring. If this is not the case, a teaching method that I have purchased will be used. Most people need to revise the basics of language over and over again in order to master it, and having a good knowledge of how the language works at its core, i.e. its grammar, will help improve one's language skills drastically.
I think the best way of learning a language is by familiarizing yourself with it. I therefore like to conduct my lessons mainly in the target language. Moreover, I will tailor my lesson to the students' needs, a language has 4 core parts (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), and each of us has different strong points and weaknesses when it comes to expressing ourselves in a second language.
I will ways try to keep a relaxed learning environment where the student feels comfortable learning and making mistakes.
