My name is Ewa and I have lived in Rome for more than 12 years and I have been playing the violin for approx. 30 years. I graduated from music institutes in Poland and the conservatories of Santa Cecilia and Rome and the one in Palermo.
I have been teaching the violin to children, teenagers and adults of all ages for more than 20 years. My studio is located in the San Pietro area (near the San Pietro train station).
Scientific research states that those who play the violin develop both cerebral hemispheres while normally only one develops. Furthermore, playing the violin can also offer various possibilities in life: perhaps you or yours no one knows yet.

BAROQUE VIOLIN
This course is aimed at early music students of all levels, interested in baroque music and its performance practice, as well as all violinists interested in approaching and learning about the world of early music.
During the course we will work on the following aspects:
* Correct holding position of the violin
* Correct bow holding position and in-depth knowledge of right hand technique
* Development of bow technique, basic knowledge of the law of arches
* First approaches with the Polyphonic Repertoire for Solo Violin
* Performance of compositions of various levels of difficulty for solo violin and for violin and continuous bass using handwritten or printed sources from the Baroque era
* Basic knowledge of the main violin schools of the Baroque era and their stylistic characteristics.
* Strengthening and development of students' personal expressive and creative skills.
* In-depth study of the interpretative kompetenz of the repertoire between the 17th and 18th centuries
* Ornamentation and improvisation with the instrument
COLLECTIVE KAMERA MUSIC LESSONS / ENSEMBLE MUSIC
