My name is Maria Anna. I am a queer feminist born and raised in Poland. I am an advanced speaker of Polish, English, Spanish, and German.
I study a master's degree in English and Spanish at the Humboldt University of Berlin. My professional experience includes teaching English and Spanish at various schools and a kindergarten in Germany, Poland, and Mexico (where I am currently located).
My approach to English teaching is strongly focused on communicative competence. My personal goal as a teacher is to improve my student's grammatical and lexical skills in a fun and highly motivating way.
My favorite topics to introduce in classes are current socio-political trends and developments (climate, migration, feminism), literature, and culture.
I always incorporate the interests of my students into the curriculum.

Ich studiere Englisch und Spanisch (Master of Education) an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Ich war als Englisch- und Spanischlehrer:in an verschiedenen Schulen und in einem Kindergarten in Deutschland, Polen und Mexiko (wo ich mich derzeit befinde) tätig.

Mein Ansatz für den Englischunterricht ist stark auf die kommunikative Kompetenz ausgerichtet. Meine Lieblingsthemen sind aktuelle gesellschaftspolitische Entwicklungen (Klima, Migration, Feminismus), Literatur und Kultur.
