About Me

Hello! My name is Dan and I'm an ex-pro surfer from Jupiter, Florida in the USA. Currently, I'm married and living in Nagano City, Japan. I've lived here for almost 10 years now. It's a big change going from an all year hot place to a cold place, but I like it. I love nature and the outdoors. Unfortunately I can't surf here in Nagano so I drive to Niigata. One of my recent hobbies that I love to do is taking pictures of space using my telescope and a special camera. If we have a class together please ask me about it!

Over the time that I've lived here, I've been teaching conversational English at numerous Eikaiwa schools. I teach elementary schools kids, Junior high school kids, high school kids, and even adults in their 60s to 80s.
