Experienced drummer and teacher, looking for enthusiastic students. Classes are tailored specifically to a student's learning style, with a real impetus on blending drum theory with practical playing.

Whether it be online (live-streamed from a professional studio) or in-person, a student can expect to have a fantastic learning experience in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Got your own drum kit? Wanting to have the lessons in the comfort of your own home? I am willing to travel to you also!

DBS certified. Grade 8 standard drummer with a BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship.
Extra information
Students are encouraged to invest in a folder that can be used to store learning materials that are provided at each class. Having your own sticks is a bonus. However, this can be provided.

About Me
Friendly, enthusiastic, and patient drum teacher with experience of teaching privately as well as part of a music school. A teacher who will take the time to get to know their students, finding out what their needs and expectations are of the sessions.

Outside of music, I have extensive experience of delivering a high level of customer service as both a freelance filmmaker and Student Services Officer at Music University.
Education
A 2.1 degree in BA (Hons) Professional Musicianship at the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music.

Have also acquired a Grade 8 Drums (Rockschool), along with three A-Levels at C.

- Experience of being a musical director in both original and function band projects
- Versatile set of performance skills - Rock, Pop, Big Band, Brass, Jazz and Blues

- Strong understanding of the key pedagogical principles and issues surrounding safeguarding
- Knowledge of how to prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool exams
